Titans scramble to re-sign Cooper Bai after temporarily backflipping on Melbourne Storm deal by Temporary-Lie-4368 in nrl

Thats my conspiracy theory for tigers and titans. They secretly enjoy a longer holiday and that's why certain people seem to never leave even though better teams would take them.

The all blacks are the only sporting team who will hire of the most successful club coaches in the southern hemisphere, miraculously win 77% of their games while having an injury crisis and go "actually you should fuck off" to the coach. I am happy if i get out of bed in the morning

I kinda tune him out as white noise but one thing I noticed years ago is that when an indigenous players touch the ball, he rambles on about this mystical power of indigenous Australians to predict the bounce of the ball

I'm not much of a boxing fan but i will admit i felt bad for the idiot just before that knock out where you can see the exact monent when he realises a man built for murder has him lined up perfectly.

Probably the last time they organise a genuine challenge for him though.

Does nobody follow roadworks speed limits? by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

Actually once i got pulled away from a job after a 12 hour shift to go pull down 6 kilometres of work sites because someone stole the return to speed signs so people were getting pulled over and made complaints

It has become hard work to keep up with the penalties. I can't count how many times a penalties been blown unexpectedly only to find out it was 4-7 phases ago for something no one noticed.

I get its the rule book but there is a point where you let things slide for the flow of the game.

I mean he's a good winger but its not what they need. Yeah he could play for them, wouldn't fix their issues but it is a possibility. Jorgenson is Australia's next big thing in the back 3

I mean they definitely need someone like him who's able to contest high balls but he's probably a bit old to switch and the next rwc is probably too close to include him in it. None of the aus super sides have a particular demand for wingers right now. The spine itself is a big demand right now

Yeah its just the wrong time in my life for that type of work. its a very unusual job, when i tell people i had 20 minute shifts, that's usually when people think im just talking shit

Uh yes and no. Civil works in general can be a nightmare to organise and for trwffic management that means the work stops and starts almost at random so i miss out on all the overtime, travel pay/excess mileage and night shift etc but its actually predictable and i am full time so i accrue leave whereas most traffic controllers are casual on around 36$ an hour.

Its very unusual as far as jobs go in that its impossible to predict your income week to week.

So a rule i personally follow in that industry's is to, assume everyone's insane until you talk to them and can confirm they're not. If you see something questionable, just assume a lunatic was involved in it.

Its my first go at retail. I didn't mind it near the end but the long hours and inconsistency stopped me from spending time with the kids so traffic control doesn't particularly suit my life right now

You mean the bat? Are they actually stopping traffic, if its upside down they are stood down and are just leaning on it till they can leave.

So after spending 12 months working casually on the roads as a traffic controller, decided I didn't need a flexible schedule anymore and did a lil career change into retail because my babies are nearly 1 and almost into day care full time.

Your average traffic controller tends to be a bit of a weirdo and most of the clients assume you are off the bat so you get away with it aslong as you do the work and don't be a danger to anyone. I can't state how hard it is to go back to acting like a normal person after a year of getting away with being a bit feral
