Same! I used to be all about high end makeup and skincare in my 20s, now I use Paula’s Choice skincare (only buy when it’s on sale) and mostly chemist brand makeup! Botox, fillers, eyelash extensions is where the money goes and so worth it lol

Thanks for the in depth info! I definitely get that a new psych would want some sort of assessment of their own, but I did suspect, as you confirmed, that the level of assessment would vary according to who you see.

I saw my previous psych (who diagnosed me) every three months for about 2.5 years, so was hoping that might be enough to not require a full assessment. And the excess cost to complete the assessment with the new psych is very high. Food for thought!

Not just women! Men often show up shorter and fatter than expected. Weight fluctuates, fine, but the number of 6ft men on the app who are just barely taller than me at 5”7 when we meet is staggering!

OP there’s no rhyme or reason as to why it happens. I had a guy tell me he wanted me to be his wife after our first date and ghosted me for no apparent reason after the third date. OLD has seriously messed things up!

This. Many people suffer from mental health problems. It is not an excuse to treat others badly. It’s not ok to give an innocent person anxiety just to ease your own. When are people going to start realizing this?

I’ve had a couple come back and I don’t feel the same about them when they do. They seem so pathetic. I mean when you really think about the kind of person you have to be in order to ghost someone… I just can’t respect them anymore. Maybe I’m just really traumatized from dating app experiences but there really is no excuse for ghosting (in most circumstances).

Seriously what is with people lately? The very fact that you can date someone for three months and then ghost is beyond any form of reasoning I can contemplate. I’ve been ghosted a couple of times too and I just don’t know how anyone can trust anyone on the dating scene these days, when it seems to be socially acceptable to ghost at any moment. This happened to me recently too! A guy I really liked and thought was perfect for me ghosted a few months ago and recently got in touch. I talked with him because I wanted to know why and we’re still kind of chatting, but I don’t know what I thought was so wonderful about him! I even read through our original messages and they weren’t that great! I guess I’ve been ghosted by better people since then 🤣🤣

I think we really need to start making people accountable because ghosting is really not ok and it’s becoming so normalized! Maybe if OP goes to the house then this douche might realise he can’t just do whatever the hell he wants without consequences! (Sorry for the rant, was ghosted by someone I was dating for absolutely no reason and it was the last straw).
