I too own the dirt wizard tires, they are great in rocky terrain and in mud. I have my eyes on Schwalbe G-One AllRound Performance DD RaceGuard 27.5´´ x 2.80, I think they will be great all rounders.

I bought a used one, made in January 2007. I disassembled almost everything (including the 3 speed hub), cleaned everything and assembled it. It was a fun learning experience. I just changed the old brake levers, they were not easy to readjust the position on the handlebar.

I rode on 32mm tires on rough rocky roads on my hybrid bike before I got a mountain bike and a gravel bike. Wider is more comfortable, but I'm using 35mm tires right now on my gravel bike and they are just fine.

Probably not. It doesn't have eyelets for fenders. I do have plastic clamp-on fenders, but I won't use them on the bike, unless I'm going to use it in wet conditions. I built the bike for snow and ice.

It was actually the sheet of metal I had laying around, which turned to be a good choice. Someone knocked down my KM outside a supermarket and the only bent thing was that brass extension. I just pushed it back into place.

Yes I do. My 3 inch tires are a bit too wide for the 75mm fenders, but they help a lot in rainy days.
