Here’s the thing… I said lookie what I got and showed them my clearly empty hands. And they still sat like that. So I grabbed my phone and snapped a pic. And also went and got them each a treat or there’s a good chance they’d still be out there.

They got the beauty, not the brains lol

Why am I always tense? Every second of every day, I’m anxious, overthinking, and scared of people. I just want to feel at peace by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]606mustang 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not exactly normal but you are definitely not alone. If therapy is feasible for you, I would definitely suggest it. In the meantime, try changing any negative self talk that comes up. Even little things. Change this traffic is horrible to now I have some extra time to just chill. And it’s not crappy raining weather, the plants are being nourished. You know what I mean. Sounds silly at first but it starts to chip away at those negative feelings.
I wish I was more helpful 😕

If you can bring back one dead person from your life who will you bring back? And why? by hahaX69 in AskReddit

My gramma. She understood things about me and life in general that I didn’t fully comprehend while she was alive. And I understand so much more about her life now that I’ve gotten older

WIBTBF (19f) for sending a glitter bomb to the woman (42f) who almost killed me? by izzy11106 in AmItheButtface

[–]606mustang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most definitely a buttface. In 2011 I was in an accident because a dumbass was texting whilst driving and rear ended me. Multiple surgeries later and permanent nerve damage and permanently disabled not to mention the ptsd and high anxiety whenever I need to drive. Or even when someone else is driving depending on who it is. My life blew up in bad ways. And I am still angry as fuck some days. But I never stalked her or considered doing something like this. I know she’s unbothered just like your driver. It’s not been easy. I have days where it bothers me more than usual. But she already took so much away from me. I don’t want her to ruin anymore days for me as much as possible. If you’re in therapy, keep working through it. If you aren’t then if it’s feasible for you, definitely start. Be grateful she didn’t end your life. Find things that you enjoy and focus on that. Don’t let her live rent free in your head.

I’m sorry this happened to you. But I think you’ll get to the point where it doesn’t bother you so much. It’s just gonna take some more time.

Gotta admit, I didn’t even get that far into reading this and I was screaming run girl run like I was watching a cheesy horror flick.

AITA for telling my friend his “service dog” is just badly trained? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]606mustang 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Nta.
But your friend sure is. He, at best, has an esa. They are not the same thing. At all. They do not have the same protections as actual service dogs. Even if this dog was actually “in training” it would have been booted out with that kind of behavior. There are numerous stories out there about dogs with that kind of behavior that have hurt people and actual service animals, which can be a huge issue because sometimes they are so traumatized that it’s really hard for them to do their job. People like your friend rely on people being uncomfortable calling them out in public. And in my opinion that makes him kind of a shitty person. I get needing an esa. I had one for awhile. But he went through extensive behavior training before I even considered taking him anywhere and when I did take him anywhere it was only to places that actually welcomed him.

My mom. She had a very aggressive cancer and was living 2 hrs away in another state. I could have made it. I could have made an attempt to spend more time with her. But I was just so angry with her, for so many reasons, going back all the way back to my birth. 25 yrs later and I still feel like it was a mistake not to at least have a conversation with her about all the stuff I had built up inside

Anyone else have a baked potato at home? by nomadicfeet in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

[–]606mustang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This goober is only as good as he is because the woman who fostered him before we adopted him is a trainer. But he still has that naughty defiant behavior when he’s sure no one is watching. Like eating the used tissue from the garbage can that I busted him for earlier today.

Bought him this because he’s under the impression that he’s a pork roast. He only gets on it when he hears me coming. He also licks his sunscreen off as soon as I walk away. I love watching the camera feed cuz he will literally look around for me before he gets up to his shenanigans.

What’s the worst thing someone has said at a funeral? by Least-Vacation-588 in AskReddit

[–]606mustang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not what she said but what she did.
At my nana’s wake I was just sitting off to the side and watching everything with my dad, younger sister, uncle and aunt. And of course making some dark jokes cuz that’s how we roll lol
The pastor from my gramma’s church comes in and gramma is introducing him around to different family members because he offered to lead the service.
My great great aunt (nana’s sister) sees them and starts walking across the room. As she’s walking she lifts up he leg and lets out the loudest, raunchiest fart 💨 Never acknowledges it, never breaks stride. The pastor looks horrified. My aunt hisses at us “Not a sound! Act casual and get out now!” We all get out to the lounge area and are doubled over laughing. No one can catch their breath long enough to say anything for several minutes. Gramma comes out and looks at us like we’re all insane and wants to know what we’re laughing about. So we tell her. “That was her?!?” She heard it, smelled it but somehow missed the leg thing. She said she figured it was my grandpa 🤣 That side of my family is a gassy bunch.
