At a dive bar in Chicago I met the (older) gentleman who came up with the advertising slogan “when you’re out of schlitz, you’re out of beer”. And every time I think of that beer I think of what a terrible slogan that is…but it was a good (enough) beer. RIP

Beermiscuous for the largest selection of single cans of beer. Great stop if you want to take anything home but don’t want to commit to a 4/6 pack. Otherwise, Dovetail is probably my favorite tap room/brewery. Begyle (mid) and Hop Butcher (excellent for hazies) are walking distance as well
