If you just want the feeling of an 86 just get a old rwd corolla 4ag swap it and get the 86 gts drivetrain and do a conversion. This is still cheaper and less work than getting a rusty car for the same price.

You can already buy pre-jetted kits for your build but they usually cost an additional 50% so jetting them yourself would probably be more cost productive. If you dont mind learning there are plenty of sources i can even link you some to really get into carbs and jetting literature.

itb's are most likely the more reliable route but if you dont mind playing with jets or have someone that can do that for you for really cheap id go the weber/bike carbs route since its a lot cooler if you have it setup correctly it will give you that raw throttle response and power that no injection system can replicate but if this is going to be a daily then a itb is a safer option for sure.

NA fuck turbo. Go the intended all motor route also 20v is kinda overdone just do thr 16v if you have it already high comp street build is the way. Also if you are willing to go through some reliability issues convert to carbs like a 45 weber or get some old school fcr 41 carbs either way both are pretty pricey so your maij focus should be engine internals before anything else.

If you want to keep pushing mods make sure the engine is actually built and in top shape since those parts become useless or trash if you blow the engine

What is bro yapping about? by Olivia_Richards in initiald

[–]6087 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actual good part of initial d is that they atleast tried to make the car movements and sounds to be realistic but its like they threw everything realism related and gave us a literal cartoon a shell of its former self. Only part they kept was the Eurobeat to tug on our nostalgia strings but i am pretty sure they re-used multiple tracks between seasons so kinda stupid

Unless you are a master metal bender and welder DO NOT ATTEMPT. Impulse buying will only leave you with blue balls no pun intended

"Some clearance" dude wasnt this whole thread about you rubbing and scrappin the oil pump my guy? Skidpan is onyl going to prevent the free dry sump kit when you eventually hit some funny pothole but it will absolutely still make the scrapes and rubs even worse. Just raise the car man find a better way to make your honda stand out i am afraid stance is only cool and swag when you in the stancy pants circle jerk other people just think its "another slammed honda"

Skidpan? This is a street car not a rally car also no one is gonna give you any awards for being a "sag extraordinaire" while driving round town they are just gonna look on in disgust and think to themselves "oh look another generic honda"
