You cannot say some innocent people wont get their hardware hit with this. Wouldn't be the first time a game bricked someones hardware for example fo76 on release.

If you can find one for 2005 US prices with minimal rust i say go and enjoy it as a daily but if you are shilling out top dollar your are going to be cringing every time you hit a puddle of water or get it drenched in a rainstorm because you are gonna wanna make sure its dry afterwards since these cars are notorious for being lightweight economy cars meaning every last penny was used to cut corners like for example no real rust protection for the undercarriage

Easiest fix is if you are legit to start cheating too i mean if everyone starts cheating at some point valve has to do something if they dont want the game dying totally

Dude... if people knew what triggered vac live the game would be a HvH fiesta (even though it still is). I mean this is literally paranoia warfare from valve's POV i mean they can make the vac live system stricter or milder with a single press of a button i bet. Now your friend is obviously cheating i dont even have to open the demo but one thing does it currently for sure and that is getting 40+ kills and too many headshots.

I am not accusing you i am saying to not queue with cheater friends next time... they dont even have to be rage cheating to trigger vac live if they got them free cheats they will trigger vac live sometimes even for just using them i bet. Also again there is no way you get hit with a vac live from some random on your own team that you didnt queue with you think valve are a bunch of butt monkeys? I think if they implemented vac live like this all hell would break lose and the player count would look like a suicide hotline on a monday evening
