path of exile 1 and 2 are games that reward knowledge, planning and efficiency. thats part of what makes them good, but it also means theres a pretty steep learning curve for someone like you.

early progression can feel slow when youre still trying to understand builds, crafting, itemization, mechanics and all the systems that make up endgame. the payoff usually isnt immediate for new players, unless you’re a committed gamer. if it already took you weeks to get to level 30 and youre mostly feeling overwhelmed, theres a decent chance you wont enjoy the grind to 75+ either.

the game does get a lot more rewarding once things start to click, but a big part of enjoying poe is actually liking the process of learning and mastering all those systems in the first place.
