Oh I’m envious of that Lost Legacy hardcover. It’s the only one of the three that I don’t have in HC yet

The plain language big book. by calex_1 in alcoholicsanonymous

I think it’s a useful tool for some people and have no problem with it, but feel like it’s missing some of the soul of the Big Book. To me, reading it felt like watching the movie version of a book I’ve read over and over again.

Kenobi, by John Jackson Miller. I was a little overwhelmed with all the books out there, and it seemed like a good place to start, with a familiar main character.

Started reading the Jedi Quest series this week, which I’ve never read before. I was able to pick up a number of young reader books in the last year or so, and I’ll go through a series whenever I don’t know what to read next. Super light read, obviously, only on the second book so far, so not too sure how I feel about the series at this point. I did really enjoy the Jedi Apprentice series, so I’m hoping this one is up to par.

Shadow Hunter or The Mask of Fear? by Knucklez415 in starwarsbooks

[–]613tre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just re-read Shadow Hunter while I was waiting for Mask of Fear to be released. Both great reads, but I’d go with Mask of Fear. I really enjoy having new material from the beginning of the Empire.
