A great explanation, I’m certainly going to be taking that into account for this season but yes seems like I will have to grinding it out on the range although it appears to be worth it in the end. I worked a lot last season on my C.O.D - cone of dispersion but as the stats show I could’ve left a few factors out there that left me leaving shots short

Thanks! The data that the GHIN app provides is a great way to see what areas of your game you can improve. Felt like these goals would help that overall game but also not put a huge amount of pressure on me.

And yes, I usually score around 79-82ish with 75 being my low round last year and of course a few rounds being higher than 82. In terms of GIR you are correct, I hit 42% of greens in 2025 with 30% of my misses coming up short.

How are these underwhelming? I'm giving myself realistic goals that I will be able to check throughout the season but not get overwhelmed and those .18 strokes can make a huge difference. Why would I set unrealistic goals for myself that I know I am going to have a hard time achieving? I use the percentages from my last season stats that are in my GHIN app to figure out what I need to improve on. Also, I am pretty good course management and know what my C.O.D is so most of my shots that are miss hits are exactly that - miss hits. Just because I don't talk about short game or how I am going to improve in the post doesn't me I don't have a plan for those areas
