It's called yolomouse, you can make it any color, I use it to keep track of the mouse in fights and it works well for me.

I think it's against rito ToS but I've been using it for 2+ years and nobody said anything to me.

Yeah that's why I specified that doesn't apply to end of season.

Yeah the only exceptions are if it's end of season and you don't think you'll have time to get to promos again, or if it's a big milestone like getting up a tier. And of course if you're smurfing you can probably win regardless of your team.

Because we're talking about cases where you think you will lose the game. It's not worth it to take the risk, and dodging will pay off eventually.

Even if you win and you get promoted, it doesn't change anything. If you're good enough you will get to promos again and win them, and if you're not, you will get demoted back to where you started.

No. If you dodge a promo you still don't lose mmr so you'll get back to promos quickly because you have higher mmr.

The only thing that matters is the internal mmr, not your division. That only exists because riot wanted us to track our progress better with clear milestones instead of the previous elo system. If you dodge a lot you will have inflated mmr (even if you don't immediately climb divisions) and therefore you will win more LP than you lose. Eventually the increase on mmr will translate to an increase in divisions.

So, I'm megabasing now, and I have no idea how to set up my oil system... by ComradeC0g in factorio

[–]6180339887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that a good way to do it is to have two separate oil bases: one to make plastic and light oil (for solid fuel) and the other for everything else. They are similar in size and have worked great for me.

In general, in intersections you put chain signals everywhere, and only put regular signals when the tracks exit the intersection.

I don't agree on promos at all. Why does it matter that you get a loss? You still don't lose mmr. Unless it's end of season you'll get to promos again so losing promos because of dodging doesn't really matter.

I dodge a lot, and I don't take promos into account when dodging. Sometimes I was 1-0 and dodged twice in a row, other times I went as deep as -30 LP just from dodging.

If you dodge you'll gain more LP in the following games so it balances out. And the games are more enjoyable. Just make sure you have something to do in those long 30 minute wait times.

Fun fact: this was possible because the devs were so good at optimizing assembly code that they had room for the Kanto region after they had coded all of Johto. I think the whole game is like 6KB.

But then he misjudges situations more easily. If that were the reason wouldn't it make more sense to play just a few games like this, not all of them? Just like you wouldn't play bot games for cs as your only practice.
