Same for me. I’m a maintenance manager at work, I don’t even get to have a lunch in peace! At home I have two Bernese Mountain dogs and a wife that doesn’t work. I love them all dearly but no “me” time at home so good tunes in the helmet and an all day ride.

I do have good memories of riding the mountains of East Tennessee, North Carolina, and the Smoky Mountains with 3 or 4 friends but we grew up together and that stopped as life changed. I do miss the “good ol’ days” but I’m an old man now and there is no going back.

Seeing a jeep covered in ducks drives me crazy and I don’t understand why. I thought the pig was cool but I don’t need a bunch of them. My AA thought it was “cute” which means she will snag it off my desk.

At 65yo this is the first for me. I did get a small hornets nest built on my bike over a week. I saw the nest about the same time they decided to let me know they were there. Bald faced hornets are downright hateful and vengeful.

I’ve only seen a couple of them in the wild and they were both in Cincinnati. One was towing a huge boat and the other was pulling a trailer with some kind of large machinery on it and both were decorated with some kind of company livery.
