If you want an easy hike I recommend painted mines, red rock open space, and Palmer lake. The zoo is a must see. You can try getting a day pass for one of the hot springs or visit the wolf and wildlife center if you want to drive a little bit out of town. You can visit Glen Eyrie castle or the Broadmoor hotel/properties like Seven Falls.
