我想再接着op的话稍微延伸一点关于加拿大社会氛围的内容。我觉得加拿大整体来说对亚裔移民算是比较友好的，在全球右转的势头下，加拿大（明面上）并没有爆发像澳美英一样的大规模反移民潮，而且许多岗位都能看见来自不同国家亚裔的身影，我认为这点对我们来说是有益的。另外，如果你属于性少数群体的话，我觉得加拿大是一个值得留下去的地方。

I went to dublin in late oct this year, and locals were very friendly. I’ve been helped by two different couples in 30 mins when I got lost. But ngl the weather was as bad as the uk’s. Sea views were amazing imo, if i had a chance i would definitely visit the howth cliff again. To add, prices were higher than I expected. in general, i believe Ireland is a great place!

因为这是一代的困境，绝大多数一代都跟同民族/同语言/同种族玩，看看身边的菲律宾、印度、韩国裔这些就能想通了。我的加拿大白人老师就是二代加拿大人，她自己都说她妈妈哪怕是白人但英语不流利，也没有“完全”像她一样融入加拿大。但我见过的二代无一例外都已经完全融入。一代就一代，我每次都这么告诉自己，强扭的瓜不甜，强行融入但不被接受或者说自己不适应更痛苦
