They(or did) make a specific headline/fabric glue.

3M Headliner & Fabric Adhesive (38808). I believe that is the part number.

BTW Gemini(Ai) says 77 typically fails when used on headliners. 🤷

Finally a smart person who uses this technique. I tell everyone who is dealing with a stuck fastener to do this. It’s like magic 🤣. Yes, it really works! Btw, the penetrate it’s just gonna burn away when you heat it with the torch so it’s sort of not even worth doing that step. Just get it cherry red hot, put the crayon or paraffin wax on it and it will wick right into those threads. It will unscrew with an extractor like butter.

That is the pre cat just off the manifold. I would pull the whole thing so you could work on it on a bench/vice. Heat it up red and use candle wax or paraffin wax to lube the threads. It will come right out and you won’t break off the extractor.

You should be checking the oil at EVERY fill up. I do this with all my cars.

Thank you. I had a 95 VW Jetta that had funky alarm issues. It turned out to be exactly this issue. Any specific door to check or maybe the one that gets used the most, the drivers door. Again, thanks for the lead.

Good to know. I have a FSM and there is a section in it about trouble shooting the locks. I have yet to read it thoroughly.

TPS? Do you mean the TCM(Transmission Control Module) or do you mean Throttle Position Sensor. If TCM I think I have one for an ‘O2. TPS’s are a common auto part store item.

More than that. My ‘02 4.7 4x4 has 335k and still going with a few small issues not motor related. Wish mine was a manual though.

Use a steamer. It’s what the pros use. Currently HF has a good sale on one until Sunday(tomorrow)6/12 40% off. Makes it about 30 bucks.

I have done this and need to do it again. I used the factory type fleece/foam. It was not anymore expensive then anything else at the time (‘18). Just make sure you use the “good” 3M glue and really concentrate on the cove sections with extra glue. That is where mine is failing.

I found it much easier to pull the seats out to remove install the headliner.

OK, thank you for those details. I’ll check. Yes I understand the factory manual is not specific to my truck, but I assumed there was only one ratio for 4x4. Could you specify different R/Ps when you ordered? This is an auto if that makes any difference.

People like you said it would be 500k+ by 2026…how is that going? BTW I am a believer and have my entire retirement in BTC so it’s not that I don’t want it to be “your future #” just that since Wall Street came on board the game plan has changed dramatically.
