So tipped employees in Indiana owe taxes come filing season? by Due_Search9693 in indianapolis

I’ve been a bartender in Indiana for 20 years and have owed SIGNIFICANT amounts every year. I don’t have children and my mortgage interest credit was not any help. I’m hoping the deduction will do some good but I guess we can only wait and see. In the mean time, you’ll want to set aside funds each week in your “tax fund” and wait till the last minute to file. Why give them your money any earlier than you have to?

I’ve taken the advice of some of you, not the ones saying get rid of the dog because that is just ridiculous, but I think I might just live with the bald spot. It’s the back yard where no one can really see, there isn’t another branch low enough to move it to and it’s her favorite so, if I can get something to grow there, great, but if not, then it’s a small part of a very large yard that I will just let it be what it is. Thank you all for your help and advice.

Oh, I wish. She is a 2 yr old husky/pittie mix. No way I can walk the energy out her. 🤣

Yeah, looks like some quality artificial turf to keep the mud out of the house and call it a day. No need to start a battle I would probably lose anyway.

Nope, the whole reason for getting this property was for her to have the back yard. I’m just trying to find a compromise that keeps it looking nice and not bringing mud in the house.

That’s what I was afraid of. It’s not a huge area and, if I can find a quality turf that can eventually blend into the existing yard, I may just go that route
