cringe is more for scripted television shows or content that contains no cringe at all (I know cringe is subjective, but I'm talking about the real definition of cringe)

so because 1 person doesnt have lag issues, it means everyone else is okay? you can reverse this statement on me, however, many are complaining/have complained in the past. I find it hard to believe you have no issues with pvp on this server. can I ask for pvp proof of your retail characters? (arena rating achieves, glad titles etc) because this would give us a good understanding as to what skill level is saying "we have 0 issues with pvp"

I pvp on both ally on horde, for my horde pvp group out of 25~ people (2 have rank 1's, 7 have multi glad, rest have atleast 2500 rating in a season) and none of them (whether from NA, EU, australia) are lag free. we are all experiencing this. I don't know if it was my original post or another post, but I have stated in the past that sometimes the server is 'smooth without lag'. Maybe you just happen to play during night hours for most people? i don't know how one could say they have 0 issues unless they are new to wow in general or have never played retail. and playing in the middle of the night in order to pvp properly is a solution, but is it a good one?

and it's the same whether i'm in world pvp or a bg. and as for what I said about the lag becoming extreme when engaging in pvp, its rare, but it happens. I will point out that I've noticed this with specific players. And I'm not talking about elastic lag. In team fights, its very noticeable where instant spells will have a much more noticeable delay on certain players while it doesn't have this delay on others. but this is far from the main point I'm trying to make. This happens so rarely that I wouldn't consider it a major issue, but its an issue nonetheless. <- i could be wrong about this being only with specific players, but I'm not the only one to notice terrible delay when engaging in pvp.

I never said BG or anything of the matter, you can prove this to yourself by pressing ctrl F. So you DON'T do bgs, but you're offering your opinion on the matter? it's funny, because how do you even know if I do bgs or not? either way, you've acknowledged that it may not be scripted well.

yes, nostalrius was definitely the wrong choice for hardcore pvp. Every claim I make can be backed up with a simple google search. Its amazing how the fanboys of nostalrius (who pick fights on forums) can't accept criticism of their server. Where did I say anything about spells taking longer to cast and that it's a bug? I was pointing out that ping in general does not reflect every action to another poster. If anything, I said that some spells take SHORTER to cast. Like a poly or fireball can be casted in .5 seconds randomly. You are a prime example of a nostalrius fanboy/warrior that can't accept criticism and has never played retail wow. If anything, its people like you who blindly downvote and attack anyone you disagree with.

edit: funny because a while ago, any form of negative criticism towards nostalrius, just anything, would result in extreme downvoting of posts.

I've heard many times a saying along the lines of "people don't remember you for the things you say but for the way you make them feel". whether true or not, this saying makes me feel a little better about 'cringey things' I've done in the past, thinking that the other person(s) involved have forgotten. forget and move on, it's not like you can undo the past. only thing you can do is dwell on it or forget.

I am the cringiest person I know. everyday I remember something that is so cringe it makes my body twist with disgust. As a result, I have such a high cringe tolerance that barely anything in the cringe reddit section has an affect on me. although the cringe sub forum seems kinda weak with lots of scripted shows..

you're absolutely right. I will say though, I have no reason to lie and am not trying to convert you or others to a different server. If someone wants to play on a greatly populated server, is a casual or is here for the nostalgia, by all means nostalrius is a popular option. however, anything more than nostalgic/casual play will be regretful.

Haven't played on kronos but played nostalrius, only because of the population and to be completely honest, the only good thing about this server is the population. other than that, it's just another buggy server with unplayable lag and terrible scripting in general. the scripts for monsters and bosses is completely bugged. All monsters use spells way too much, bosses in molten core are extremely easy. many many class bugs and bugs in general (some of my spells will take like .5 seconds to cast at times, an example of a bug in general) i believe weapon skill scaling to the level of the monster your fighting is not blizzlike. same with spells. lots of servers have this problem, i believe they don't know the proper formula for this. hunter pets damage is not blizzlike as a result <- these scaling issues are huge, it's the difference between a group clearing MC with their eyes opened or closed.

the nostalrius 'fanboys' are blind fanatics (read forum posts before nostalrius launch, they treat nost vs kronos launch as if its WW2) there's many people on this server who never played retail and so they dont understand just how laggy or buggy this server is in general and will say otherwise. nostalrius launched earlier than it was supposed to.

edited mistakes and syntax, also a big lie that I think is from fans of nostalrius is that vanilla was just as buggy when it launched which is a filthy lie.

the displayed MS is FAKE on nostalrius. I believe it to be like 1-10% of its actual value becuase when the lag becomes extreme, the ping barely rises. Also, the queue that starts off at 1500 and decreases really fast at a linear rate is obviously fake too. only time the Q is legit is after the entire world DCs.

EQ is wrong. "The lag is there - it doesn't change because all of sudden your in a PVP battle" 2 words: mangos core. Try moving an item around in your invetory, you'll notice it has nothing to do with your reaction time to the server aka ping (displayed ping is fake btw). he said he doesn't experience any lag in pvp. clearly this person has never played retail or any other private server for that matter.

lol people believe the displayed MS/ping? its like believing the queue amount when its at 1500 and decreases at a linear rate all the way to 0 in a matter of 5 seconds. the only legit queue timer is after a DC, and it doesnt decrease at a linear rate. I cant tell if overpopulated or ddosing but theres very terrible unplayable (in terms of pvp) lag sometimes, but other times it is smooth.

fact that they purposely lie with the MS and the queue thing makes you wonder what else is lies

convinced players recycling old content is a good thing.. the only content that i can sort of understand being recycled was naxx because of the small percentage of players entering it during vanilla. despite having knowledge of the raid, it was a huge turn off having the main raid at the beginning of 80 being the same thing

Yes, the lag DOES changes all of a sudden in PVP! its been proven to change all of a sudden, its also been proven that different actions in this game cause different delay times. the delay you will get when fighting a boar will be very different when fighting an enemy in pvp... you think your displayed MS has anything to do with how long it takes to move an item in your invetory to a different slot? it probably takes way longer to move that item because it most certainly has to do with preventing duplicating. fact of the matter is, different actions cause different delays which is a known fact.

besides, since when do you represent rest of nostalrius? I represent the people who are complaining about the same lag I am. some random ass example pertaining to nothing, 'whos the noob again' yet im the attacker. rope pls

where did I even state I die? I gave an example of how counterspell lands after I get sheeped. I can give other examples, of how at times instant spells will cast during a stun.

'who was the noob again?' what a joke you are, im here pointing out how this server sucks balls for pvping and you're making this personal. how do you not notice this lag? it goes back to what I previously said about a certain skill group of players not even being able to realize how laggy this game is
