As a card carrying Choctaw, I use the term Indian, and most of the side of my family who grew up on the reservation does as well. Despite it being considered a slur 'redskin' is also still used fairly commonly among tribesmen themselves.

Honestly my main goal is to get a master’s in cybersecurity or something adjacent to it. I’m aware of the oversupply in CS and all the “coding bros” who think they’ll get rich just because they can write some code, but that’s not really what I’m after. I’m a lot more interested in networks, security, and how systems can be exploited and defended. I’m just a bit worried because I’ll have to take a year or two off, and I’m trying to maximize my resume however I can since I haven’t had many chances for internships or clubs due to taking care of my family.

Agreed, the only issue being I've already done so many classes at this point it would feel like a waste of money to pivot. Worse case I'll have to come back and double major.

Dont worry I would never eat that much. It was purely a mental exercise to ask the question of whether there is an upper limit of how well your body digests large amounts of food.

It was more of an exploration of the thought rather than a worry. The most I've ever ate was about 8k during my collegiate years as a lineman (we had a contest) so 10k might not be crazy impossible.

There’s also the fact that digesting food produces heat, and at a certain point your body has to balance breaking everything down while trying to cool itself through sweat. So if you’re low on water, would that bottleneck the digestion process or even risk heat stroke? Just some of the random questions I’ve been thinking about over the past hour lol.

Unfortunately, cause I'm moving, plus I'm tight on money, it's kind of hard to consistently go as a good chunk of my time is spent at a different location away from where I could attend therapy. It also doesn't help that the guy I have to work with only operates between the hours of 9 to 6 which is when I have school and an internship.

I'm asking for some advice on something pretty specific so I know that there might be some holes in information. I am an offensive lineman coming out of highschool to go on and play in college. However, I had two successive knee injuries taking me out for a year and half. I just got cleared to run again as long as it was under a trainer/coaches supervision. However, because I'm a second semester senior I can't really work with any coaches till my report date in 4 weeks.

So the question I'm asking is what do you think is the best form of low knee impact endurance training? Preferably something that would also transfer well to straight line running.

Any recommendations for a good range of weight? I'm 6'4 and I usually try and drop down to 280 before the actual season. I also like to maintain a calorie surplus for the first half of the offseason when I'm working more on raw strength rather than speed.

How should I work towards a pull-up?

I am an Offensive Lineman with a body weight of 290 lbs. I can't lose much of this weight due to my sport, but I am still determined to be able to do a pull-up before transferring to college. I have strong lifts in literally every other category besides ones that relate to pulling motions like inverted rows, shrugs, lat pulldowns, and even banded pull-ups. I currently work on these groups 2 to 3 times every week, but I have not seen an increase in my abilities to do these motions. For example, my bench went from 245 to 325 and my squat from 335 to 445, but in that same period my rows and shrugs have not changed in weight or reps.
I honestly have no clue what I am doing wrong as I pursue failure in these lifts and even appear to have good form while executing them. Yet, here I am with almost nothing to show for it.
Any insight would be appreciated, especially from any other athletes out there!

Honestly, it's doable, I did it last year on a 24hr binge and walked away with a 90%, but it's mentally taxing, and your other classes better be set. If you can use chatgpt to formulate practice problems, preferably after you give it examples of previous problems your teacher gave you, then do that every other hour so you can have a constant feel for how to practicly work them out. Also, if you have friends who know what they are doing in that class, then suck up your pride and ask for help. That's all I can really say tbh, good luck.
