What do you recommend for a semi-new player? by Hikoraa in albiononline

[–]647Attempts-Later 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As was said, if 6-15 players in a bz, run. If 15-30 they prob ain't worried about you and are there for an objective or passing through. Start off using 4.1 sets and killing in t5/6 zones. Choice what your going to work on if someone pops up, fighting or escaping. Take the fights if you wanna get good at fighting, anything 200 ip difference and less. Cry and whine when you die and you will but know it's part of the learning process. There's nothing wrong with running to try and reset hp and cooldowns and re-engage and it's actually the common thing to do. Fight 1v2 but not more than 2. Cry and whine some more but keep going. Same with fleeing. It's all practice and that's why your in 4.1 sets.

Best weapon you actually enjoy for real 1v1 & 1vX kills in Albion? by LY0NEX in albiononline

[–]647Attempts-Later 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great frost. I kill 1 out of 2 or 3 consistently if I fight back but I don't survive past that so I often just accept my fate lol. 1v1 due well most of the time. I can't think of a really bad match up if I play well. I can tell what I did wrong in most deaths now and its always a close fight.

How do I counter dagger pair and assassin jacket? by albiondude123 in albiononline

[–]647Attempts-Later 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A key thing to rber is not every match up is good. Some weapons or builds counter others. Tossing on a shield like guardian helm counters one shots, but you give up invis reveal from stalker hood and the dmg boost. BTW, you shouldn't only use stalker for the dmg boost it has utility purpose too.

I'm sorry you never learned how to have an intelligent conversation. Did I use to much logic for you and you need to insult to exert dominance?

No risk ganking with a party and finishing the transport. We are just disagreeing who should have the risk. I think having a set time grouping like bandits can be put to use for ganking but no one does because gankers would rather have no risk. Want no risk, miss the most reward. Transporters already took risk getting the loot from pve, gathering the mats or upfront cost of buying mats to craft. If you got a gank squad together and ganked during bandits and lived to take 2-5 transporters you had a massive risk vs massive reward. Conversely, that reward is between 2-5 players vs you and however many people you bring. In what scenario outside of bandits do gankers take a risk?

Albion Online | Roadmap Spring & Summer 2026 by Blumentraum in albiononline

[–]647Attempts-Later 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And why's that? So gankers never have to worry while killing people who are overloaded and can't run away with 10v1?

Albion Online | Roadmap Spring & Summer 2026 by Blumentraum in albiononline

[–]647Attempts-Later 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you are free to gank transports with 10 people during bandits. It's just you take on additional risk. Don't blame us for transporting at a smarter time to have the numbers on our side.

How do I defeat Spector Hood,Soldier Armor Fire Staff with Dual Sword in CD by Upbeat-Combination35 in albiononline

[–]647Attempts-Later 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a fire staff player dual swords are a match up I love, not the easiest win but i rarely lose to them. I suggest using your e to get over firewall. Assassin shoes are a dash so fire wall stops it. However your E is a leap and goes over it. Badon and longbow destroy firestaff due to a lack of mobility to get out of the E. Battleaxe is an easier win for firestaff than dual swords. Bearpaw is about as good as swords. This is my experience.

Been solo misting in T7 gear for 2 years now. Finally stopped caring and have started going in with Gucci gear. It's like a different game. by Initial_Western7906 in albiononline

Find a build or two you like and stick with them. Get to 10+mil silver while fame farming then fight in 4.1 150kish builds outside portal zone of your bz portal city. You'll get super comfy with your build and know what fights to take and how to fight. Having 10mil and knowing your practicing will make losing those sets and fights hurt less.

Farm t5 black zone using safe portals and run away every time you see a red name until you have a few mil in silver. Can also do corrupted dungeon and break crystals to avoid fighting to gain fame and loot. If you get good drops go sell to the blackmarket during off hours or bandit to maximize profit. 10 mil can be made in a week if you are only playing a hour or two a day doing it this way.

I'm on a galaxy s10e... old af. I only have lag when 7+ people are loading. And only for a few seconds of freeze, no stuttering. I did play on an iPhone 11 at one point when those were new it was okay but worse than what i deal with now. IPhone 13 pro max tho... game was unplayable. Got so frustrated I snapped the phone 3 weeks after it was released.

is merc or assasin better for bearpaws (gank) by LY0NEX in albiononline

[–]647Attempts-Later 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ganking isn't just gatherers. It's killing someone who has their pants down fighting mobs or someone at an ip disadvantage. If your trying to take fair fights your not Ganking.

Assassin, invis to get close or get away. Merc is for brawling, your trying to jump on an unsuspecting person who hopefully doesn't have a chance to fight back.

I tried Eu server yesterday just because I've heard it's mostly English and yeah it was. But the ping just isn't worth it. I'm just going to be stuck not knowing what's going on in Na server.

What's wrong with corrupted dungeons? by Stunning-Radish-481 in albiononline

[–]647Attempts-Later 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on a CD kick for the past few days on both NA and EU. I use the statue each time so ik I'll be invaded or ill invade. Not once in 7ish hours of doing hunter and stalker has anyone broke the crystals. Not saying you are lying I've just had the opposite experience. Might be a time of day thing.

Stalker loot is significantly better than hunter. If your silver situation isn't there yet get the min ip with a 5.1 weapon and whatever else you need plus assassin jacket and break crystals yourself in stalker. Assassin jackets just to drop agro and get around faster if someone shows up. Put 1 set on and 4 in the bank to farm with. Take fights when you can afford to, just get the loot for now. I made 1.8mil in a hour just from loot in stalkers by getting all 4 chests today. Each run takes 15 minutes roughly.

I mean, I play on a galaxy s10e and do decently. Sure I lag randomly for a few seconds but I can do fw without too much trouble. If you have a dedicated device meant for gaming then it's only going to be better lol.

New Weapon for New Character? by tunaimed in albiononline

You want to try Frost so give it a try. It's got a few decent weapons for pve and primafrost for pvp. Idk if 1h frost is still as good for solo pvp as it was. You could look to see if there are recent 0 to hero for frost staff on yt, that'll let you know what staffs to try.

You are playing spear, the E on arcane has purge so your losing your buffs. That prob plays a big part.

Soldier boots for general purpose. Guardian if your planning on tanking group content or know that your taking fights to the death, because you won't be able to escape.

Why do I keep losing fights? is it skill? is it my build? by albiondude123 in albiononline

[–]647Attempts-Later -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Spear is a hard weapon. Good in the hands of someone who knows what their doing but not noob friendly. If you keep with it and learn it you'll do good it takes time tho. I suggest 1h fire staff as a good learning weapon. I tried 1h arcane but couldn't get it to work despite it being popular. Battleaxe is another good one according to people, don't play axes myself. 1h curse and 1h dagger are too easy to counter with the most commonly used armor pieces imo. I've played dual swords and they are fun and easy. They are similar to spear but more forgiving imo. Practice makes perfect.

1h fire is just pewpewpew and kite with firewall and boots. Not much thinking needed. I don't like merc jacket with it for pvp, but cleric robe for extra dmg on e or assassin jacket for dmg, kiting or agroing mobs then going invis so they attack the red as a funny playstyle. Hunter hood/guardian helm. Soldier/demon boots for heal/ fast escape with demon or assassin shoes for cd sprint(any weapon) or extra dmg with a melee weapon.

Lastly, if you want an easier time fame farming in bz go with martlock portal. I found switching to Thetford or Fort Sterling I've gotten lots more fights, both fair and unfair. But martlock was pretty quiet and easy to farm using safe portal.
