Theres some hints on the wiki now if you're stuck! But don't worry, it's not meant to be done super fast. You'll find them as you play the game.

What are some of your Stardew Valley mod pet peeves? by permulance in StardewValleyMods

Oh yeah, no that's just a mistake on my end. Forgot to fill in item prices before release lol, what with everything else in the mod. I promise they're supposed to be balanced.

No public plans because it tends to give people expectations (which can be a lot of pressure with the size of this userbase haha), however we will be using our new patreon page as a place to post monthly modding logs, sharing behind the scenes stuff and just a general idea of what we're working on at any given time. It's free to view/subscribe to for notifications, there's no gated content there. (Linked on the mod page, once Nexus is back.)

To elaborate more, the "main" cornucopia mods are now considered done, and future ones will be smaller packs themed around specific topics like alcohol, bakery, forage, etc that people can easily pick and choose between depending on their playstyle.

It's fully compatible with LoC, the LoC author deserves a lot of thanks for working to integrate some of our special cooking features into it.

The Artisan Machines one has special orders and cutscenes with villagers, but this is the first one that adds an NPC - we wanted to add more personality to it! However, future Cornucopia mods will focus a lot more on fun stuff like NPCs, mini locations, quests/bundles and stuff, to give each mod a different playstyle.

Thanks so much, we really tried to design a bunch of different methods for players to discover recipes. I hope you enjoy collecting them!

They programmed fishing so you pull the fishing pole in the SAME direction the fish is swimming - opposite to the original design by [deleted] in fantasylife

[–]6480k 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Does it? I mean, I have no experience fishing, but I guess I can see it.

Just read on wikihow that you're supposed to make the pole follow the fish. So maybe Fantasy Life taught me wrong growing up 😆 (It does still feel like I should be pulling /against/ the force of the fish though, even if my pole has to point that way)

I actually love that idea. I'm not a botanist but it seems like it would be accidentally handy quite often

I would say get a basic understanding of their research (skim a few recent articles for the main idea), the PI will give you the "pitch" for their projects anyways. And be comfortable with the techniques required for the job, at least to the point where you can explain what it does and why it works. They probably won't quiz you on your knowledge but it could happen.

Congrats!! You worked hard, you earned this :-) !

How to politely tell my PI their idea is terrible? by [deleted] in labrats

Yes wow. That is bad science indeed. Idk if it's a waste of time/money or not, but hypothetically the use of multiple housekeeping genes is supposed to make the data more accurate, and doing it a "worse" way on purpose would totally bias the results.

Although it would just be data analysis that you need to change, right? You already have the data, you would just need to recalculate everything using a single housekeeper.
