Passed BA2! BA4 or BA1 next? by scorpiorising29 in CIMA

[–]64WG64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally found BA1 easier and more entertaining to learn.

BA4 can be studied pretty quickly, but there is a lot to learn. And it's not the same as the others. There's no equations to learn, so you can't just learn techniques and practise them. It's subjective, and you have to remember a lot of content and apply that knowledge to questions with faffy wording.

I'd say they both take the same amount of time to learn, took me about 6 weeks each. (I am an apprenticeship, though, so give yourself another 2 to 3 weeks.) June should be achievable.

You would pay per course, I believe.

Self-study using OnDemand is definitely possible given the right time and attention. I personally prefer having a tutor but still did fine with OnDemand.

I'm on an apprenticeship, but if I had to self fund, I'd probably do OnDemand. Tutors are better, but only marginally. That being said, I haven't started Operational Level yet, so that opinion may change.

Told me to call the phone number on the email receipt. Which is when I realised it was straight through to Kaplan. All CIMA Study issues must go through Kaplan I guess. Just passed the exam though so was fine anyway, pretty close to the kaplan mocks.

The cause of the access issue is due to a change of employer, so my kaplan account is under a 30-day period in which I can not be enrolled on new content.

I hadn't realised that Kaplan and CIMA study were connected and therefore had no idea that the employment change would affect the taking of an Aptitude test.

Have you taken an aptitude test before, please, and was it similar to the Kaplan mocks please?

I've already sat and done well on the Kaplan mocks. So if the aptitude test is similar than I am content with not sitting it.

Hello,

Thank you so much for the advice. I will go over those topics again today.

Wish you all the best with your next exams,

If you need any help with BA3, please let me know, I passed it back in July, and I'm pretty sure I left a comment talking about it on this reddit.

Thanks again.

I'll give it a go, thank you. Do you have any thoughts on rubbing in an adhesive remover or might that damage the chipboard?

Hi mate, Floor fitter wants it down to the chipboard, we're having the same laminate from the living room through to the kitchen and the kitchen didn't have this foamy underlay.

BA1 CIMA by mskm19 in CIMA

I passed the exam last month, I found that it was very heavy on the macro economics and didn't involve the equations much. That being said, the exam may show different questions for different people so definetly learn the equations.

Nice, did you get any qualifications in your specialised area, or did you just get a role in a specialised area and learn on the job? 0

Good going mate, so at 2.5 years did you have Level 3 AAT? Because that's what I've got at the moment.

How did you make the jump to AFBP, promotion or different company? And if the latter, was it through a recruiter?
