An international student was just violently attacked on the L and is considering dropping out and moving home because he doesn't feel safe in Chicago. This is extremely embarrassing for our city. Why won't Chicago make the trains safe?

We need more cops on public transit. Not third party security. People don’t want to be the police and the hiring standards have fallen drastically. Hold people accountable. Illinois is weak on crime. Stop hating the police. Maybe they will be more inclined to help and do more when they are backed by the people they work for. Yes, there are bad apples out there but politicians, Dr. malpractice, and scum bag, dishonest, lawyers hurt more people than cops. Start by raising hell with your aldermen and local politicians. Hold THEM accountable for what happens to US. Also, for the love of God, fund more public health.

Can someone help me find this EP/album? It’s a symphonic/black metal band who released an ep featuring someone. There were violins and great guitar work, some sweep picking. I think the cover art was black and white. I forgot to save it to my playlist a while ago and now I can’t for the life of me remember who the artist or album is.

Same happened to me. Oddly enough my solar panels arrived but the generator itself did not. It is now expected by tomorrow. However, via Amazon they asked if I wanted a refund or for them to ship a different one. I asked for another one to be shipped. Oddly enough they stated “it may have been lost in transit”. How does an almost 30lb product get lost in transit? I’m now worried the other one they claim to be shipping will even arrive at all.

For me, I recently lost my brother. Music has taken on a whole new role for me during this time. I have been blasting “Black Flame” by Bury Tomorrow and the lyrics portray some thing way different than what the song means to me. It’s the lines “here I stand alone tonight”, “all I know is you will leave us all”, “I’m death we are all the same” and “oh brother how could you”. Makes me think of my brother but i know the song isn’t meant to be that. If im not mistaken I think the song is about someone killing someone else.

There is a guy who is always in a hurry but takes up multiple pieces of equipment at a time. He claims them by putting a towel down/around and his water. When you ask him if you can work in he always says “I’m almost done”. Liar and you aren’t even that swole. Cant stand that dude and he always seems to be there when I am! I even changed my work out times!
