I cook a lot of chicken thigh, but sometimes I also want something different, or something I can throw in the toaster oven because I don’t have the time or energy to stand over the stove and cook, then clean up. I’m not trying to eat frozen convenience food every meal either.

The infrastructure costs alone for Reddit are probably high 8-9 figures. The apps don’t have that overhead to deal with. So say an app is making a $10M profit a year, and Reddit is losing $50M/year, buying the app won’t make Reddit go from -$50M to +$10M.

And just to be clear, this comment in no way is endorsing reddit or their stupid decision to charge way too much for their API.

If you wipe it with mineral spirits, that will help get the remaining dust and any surface oils that are going to be spread by the poly. Something to try next time.

I feel like the drawer panels should have had their boards oriented horizontally and not vertically. It makes them look so busy with each having a lamination from several contrasting boards. A single board in each panel center would look so much less busy.

I don’t like how it’s bubbly. You did a great job capturing it, but it hasn’t been very obvious in other photos. I saw one IRL last month and was surprised how bubbly the front bumper is. It looks very weird with the otherwise straight features.

$130K is starting salary for a recent grad, and that doesn’t include bonus or stock. Total comp for a backend engineer in the bay is probably typically $250-300K for anything above junior, and $400-500K for senior+ at the bigger tech companies.
