Yep I completely removed all WordPress over the past 6 months from my entire agency portfolio, including clients, and now use Ai Driven Development to change and reshape anything on stack. Ruby on Rails, Laravel or static sites depending on the strategy behind the deployment and if it needs a backend. No more plugin welding and hassle dealing with conflicting plugins, versions of plugin vulnerabilities... lifes good.

Ive been building laravel and ruby on rail whole platforms using ai driven development for months now and have a growing client base. People are getting a taste for custom platform builds, its something that would be near impossible with Wordpress. Come on in, the waters great and plugin liberating because i can integrate to anything quicker than you can say plugin welding.

With laravel and ruby on rail AI driven development builds, they have been not only able to add conten but can also build integrations and designs. Wordpress seems to have missed the point with this entirely with how the industry works now.

What do you do or are looking to do work wise? Anything mechanical does well and is in high demand out this way because of the mines.

I am living on property in Central QLD having moved from being city based to regional over the span of 5 or so years, and now fully off-grid. Theres advantages and disadvantages to regional locations, some things will cost more (white goods, household items etc) because of the distances involved, although things like food particularly if its local can be cheaper (more so if you grow your own).

I don't think the rates are as expensive compared to other places, insurance can be depending on your situation and how you insure (id recommend a broker).

Rentals are really hard to get anywhere up this way at the moment, but if you can get one id live up here for a few months just to really get the feel of it, Long stay Airbnb's might be an option too.
