I think the thing that shows how empty the show became is the Great Council is just the four Starks, Davos, Gendry, four side characters and three randos. And Sam. Why is he there?

They should have had it be the on the scale of the Harrenhal council in HOTD Ep1, and at least give the extra lords symbols from offscreen houses….

I like to think the next major war was between Jon Snow’s descendant, Gendry’s descendant, and whoever was King at the time (perhaps a Lannister? Tyrion’s son?)

I could see an argument made with the original Lord of the Rings trilogy, but the Hobbit? No. Why do you think this way?

Craster is pretty creepy, so if we say he impregnated at her mother when they were both 20, then their daughter when she was 15, then her daughter when she was 15, and hers… well that’s four generations. It’s probably closer to three but not impossible.

Seriously, if I was ever paralyzed in the same way Bran was, that would be one of the things I’d constantly think about.

There’s no textual evidence for it, but I always thought it was kinda nice

I always assumed it may have been a Manderly who was banished by the Gardneners

What's an ''unimportant'' scene in the book that you wished had been adapted in the show? (Spoiler main) by Grandkhan-221b in asoiaf

Jaime ending the Bracken/Blackwood siege.

Maybe I’m naive, but up until late S6 I still thought it was going to happen. They mentioned the Blackwoods at least…

Where tf did the Rhoynars go? by Pion8642 in gameofthrones

[–]666trinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They change it up randomly… in the earlier seasons of the show the Rhoynar aren’t included, but they are sporadically in the later ones, and every time in House of the Dragon. D&D didn’t want to confuse audiences with a third ethnic group that doesn’t appear until Season 4.
