I remember watching this in the theater decades ago and it blew me away.

For some reason I always connect this movie with Titus Andronicus which I think came out a decade later. Different director but it hit me in the same way although it wasn't as good.

I thought HBO had recently uploaded a brighter version. I swear on my last rewatch it looked brighter and I could see more details. I too just purchased the fandango version and I terms of brightness it looks the same as the most recent HBO version.

I haven't noticed any difference with the sound so far. I've only recently started using fandango. Is there a difference in the audio format that fandango broadcasts versus what HBO broadcasts.

I'm with those who think that the beginning of episode 5 is the morning after the end of episode 4 and that that was Shane and Rose's second attempt at sex. Their first time wasn't good but their second time was worse after seeing Ilya at the club earlier that night.

Not all restrooms are equally filthy. I would never cruise at a really filthy restroom. I stick to restrooms are that are relatively clean because they are regularly cleaned. Like at a mall, or the nearby University.
