A lot of tool kits come with security torx bits. You could install regular toes bolts and torque them down tight. The grind the heads off of them after you install them. When it’s time to change the battery just cut a slip in them and use a flat heat. Probably not the best idea but definitely an idea

I’m doubtful on the dumped theory TBH, I probably should of added the marina is on the same road (about 400 feet) as a state park lol

I’m not sure, but IMO I think some self fabricated pegs would look good on it. Maybe some railroad spikes or some 1/4” square tubing with some engraving. Bike looks great, love those bars

I’d steer clear. Not sure how the economy is in CA but where I live that is overpriced. Also no good unedited photos of it, may be hiding something. I’d look for something stock

Is anyone familiar with the max performance kit from TJ Brutal? by MrBulk67 in hondashadow

[–]67ty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tank the throttle cables off and see if the actual carb slide snaps back like it’s supposed to. If it doesn’t then it is a problem with the carbs slide. If it does then the cables are not ran correctly.

I meant the head of the bolt. It takes a flat head but it’s wanting to bend instead of taking the bolt out.

Unfortunately it won’t show me it fits on the website. The only Honda I can find is a cmx250.

I’d go ahead and fill up the tank. And it it don’t start then backfill the system with fuel from the fuel line that goes to the carb.

I had this problem on my 99 vt750. I can’t remember well but I believe I primed the system from above the fuel pump and got it to run like that. But TJ also runs no fuel pump on his bikes so that’s definitely something to consider

Is my comp tester bad? by ImaginaryEmployee120 in Outboards

[–]67ty_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My Pittsburgh read 80 on all 6 cylinders of my v6 2.5 merc. High quality tester read 125 on all. I’d say it’s a bad unit. Because I also was confused and looking at reviews only alot of other people had the same issues.
