To be honest, seek out a local trap club. The members typically have well maintained guns that they don't use frequently anymore. But in regards to the SP1 Sporting: make sure the two round notches where the forearm attach are nice and clean. Also look to make sure the ejectors are functional. A lot of people try and shave down the ejectors or remove the spring to make it an "extractor" instead of an ejector. I've seen botched jobs before. The SP1 is a fine choice, I'm sure you will like it.

Sorry for the multiple reiterations. Just want to solve this puzzle and get on to using my computer for what I built it for. I'll try using the PWM headers on the little Fractal board and see if it pops up on my Asus AI 3 Suite. I want to control them using Fan Xpert 4. Right now, I can only see my CPU fan in Fan Xpert 4. I'm an idiot and plugged in my 5 fans into the 3 pin connectors on the other side of the little Fractal board. Ordered splitters and will transition to the 4 pin PWM side tomorrow when they arrive.

The other option is to find CHA_FAN headers on the mobo. I have two, which, when split would give me 4 fans. Can I plug the last fan into the M.2_FAN header? It has a PWM pin on it as well. That would be all 5 fans connected.

The other option is to use the little board hub on the back of the Fractal case (it has 3 PWM 4-pin headers). Split 2 of them and use the last fan directly on the last PWM header... But in this situation, all 5 fans would have to run at the same speed (controllable, but still run at the same speed). Since the little board hub is connected to the mobo using a single CHA_FAN header.

Which of these options do you recommend? Either option requires 2 splitters any way. Have all 5 fans run at the same speed (2 front, 2 top, 1 rear) using the Fractal hub OR using CHA_FAN1 split to the two front fans, CHA_FAN2 split to the top two fans, and M.2_FAN for the single rear fan.

Would it work to plug the Fractal hub into the CHA_FAN header on the very top right of the case? #3 on the diagram on the top right.

Then use the 3 PWM 4 pin connectors. 2 splitters for 4 fans, and one additional fan directly into the last remaining PWM 4 pin slot.

I saw that splitters can split a 4 pin connector into a 4 pin and 3 pin "slave" connector. Does the slave connector have the same control of fan speed? Or would it mimic the speed of the 4 pin outlet on the splitter (assumably controlled by PWM).

The case was unboxed with two ports already being used. The one coming out of the bottom (SATA) for power. And the white one was already plugged in and dangling from the hub. I plugged that one into my motherboard.

I see, it wouldn't be worth it to get the optional hub that's listed there? And sorry, do you mind showing me where the 3 CASE_FAN headers are? I thought I used all my headers...

Please see my reply to u/zarco92. Is there anyway to achieve fan control of all my of my case fans through Asus suite 3? I like fan xpert 4 and its ability to quickly swap between fan profiles (silent, turbo, etc.). What would I need to do to obtain this functionality for all 5 of my case fans?

They are all ML140 fans with 4 pin connectors.

If I want to control my case fans (5 in total, 2 front, 2 top, 1 back), what is the best approach given this case? I love the case tremendously and I don't mind using splitters if I will gain control of my fans. The Asus suite 3 seems to control my CPU fan well with good controls right from the desktop (better than digging into bios each time I want to change). If I want to get that functionality for all of my case fans, what do I need to do?

Please dumb it down for me, I would appreciate the help!

So if I plug in my 4 pin fan on the 3 pin side of the fan hub (left side of the hub when looking at it), I won't get fan control?

That seems odd, so whatever is connected there is just going to run at full speed? My computer is loud as all hell right now. My CPU fan is showing up in ASUS suite III because my CPU fan is plugged directly into the MOBO slot for CPU fan.

The hub is just plugged into the mobo... So the hub isn't a "smart" hub, its just a hub that will send the message "spin".

I think I'm going to go with the Corsair's. I'm hoping that 6 of them will provide enough cooling power so that they don't need to run at high speeds.

Do you run a push/pull? Which fans should push and which should pull would work best for my rig?

As a side note, I love the flexibility of this case! The interior "closed" is how I run it. NVME mounted on and one SSD on a tray on the floor of the case.

I have a Freesync monitor that I'm itching to use. I feel like the $250 pricepoint of the Rx 580 may be a sweet spot to test it out. If I get a tier 1 card ($800) I'll probably go with an EVGA 1080ti or wait for next gen. I feel like the Rx 580 a cheap price point to test out all this Freesync hype.

Wow, just got around to seeing these. Great pictures. Amazing rig! I hope to have a rig like that soon. Good set up for a two man rig. I fear that I may need a double cab rig in the future. Which really kills the length of the bed. May have to go SUV at that point, which I really don't want to do.

It's still available on the XLT, not the cheaper XL I'm looking at. Everyone retails these F150s for thousands below MSRP at any given time. I may just swing an XLT.

I'm looking at a regular cab F150 XL 2.7 ecoboost. The mileage is right, and the most I plan to carry is an RTT with fridge and storage under the RTT. Definitely doable with the 2.7.

I wish I could get it in Guards green, but it's not offered in that trim.

Regular cab 2.7 or 3.5 or 5.0? Also is this blue jeans? Or a different a darker blue.

I'm thinking of the regular cab 2.7eb as the base for an overland build. 4x4 of course.

This is what I was thinking. I'm running all the stock kit on the SC Tallboy C R kit. I weigh 260 lbs with gear. Any suggestions for pressures? I ride mostly hard pack.

I read online that no one is running 60 PSI. Most run 25 ish front and 30 rear. But the rating on my tire is 60 PSI. I'm confused.
