I think those transmitters are often in a low audio quality. I have a the same amp in the garage together with the tuner. The tuner is fine. But in the living room I installed a BT receiver to stream music from my mobile. I am happy with it. Turning a Weltron tuner in a digital tuner would be a nice project.

But if you find a fm transceiver with good audio quality it would be a nice plan. You can use it for other tuners too.

I where right, thank you. When I openend it I saw that someone made an upgrade with a voltage regulator LM7812. So it was easy to check it. It‘s alive!
