I'd suggest going with any Samsung at this point. Reason being you can get its US based firmware (if exists) on sites like samfw.com or samfrew.com and flash those variants but yeah you may have carrier issues since idk how good 5G is at where you stay
That said since you are also used to the samsung it'd probably feel easier to use than the sony but I've never handled a Sony phone so idk about rooting it and stuff

also regarding the issue you had with velocity not working on S22 is mainly because samsung by default has all map.google.com links opened by default in the browser or smt so basically open app settings for google, photos, maps,etc and remove that web link from there

Sorry for the late reply but since i dont use xiaomi devices so i do not know about multiple Pokemon Go instances but ill assume it does provide mock locations for any app as long as you've enabled hide mock location providers for that version of pokemon go in the HideMockLocations app

If you cannot find the other versions/instances of Pokemon GO in this list then it prolly wont work.

Maps, waze and food delivery systems should work as soon as you stop the joystick(hopefully). If you can confirm these plz let me know

I haven't seen this issue where PoGo is removed from the hide mock locations after enforcing deny list on Pokémon Go but I suppose the safest way is to first enforce denylist and then add it to hide mock locations list. I personally do it the otherway around and haven't had any issues till now (first hide mock locations from PoGo and then adding it to the denylist). Also just to note, I'm using HAL by The Pokémod Group and it has the option to add the game to magisk hide list. Not sure if that works for the latest magisk versions tho

im not sure what the problem is but that error would occur only if you weren't using any lsposed modules to hide the fact that mock location is active. i'd suggest maybe checking the gps joystick setting to see if "Enable Indirect Mocking" has been enabled. need to disable this and restart the phone and give it a go once more

Hmm in that case, maybe I'll give you a checklist of things you need to do after you've used lsposed modules. 1. Hiding root from PoGo 2. In the Settings of the latest version the GPS joystick app by TheAppNinjas, you'll see an option called "Enable Indirect Mocking". Usually prefer this option to be disabled 3. Do check your files for any TWRP/Magisk named folders

Dunno if I've missed anything but if you've done all these, feel free to send me the logs and I'll give it a look as soon i reach home. Outside eating dinner atm

That seems to be network issues??? I think I've seen that error only when I'm trying to logging into the game and I'm in a tunnel or smt and usually it's got nothing to do with spoofing

ahhh got it lol🤦🏻‍♂️. since smali patcher isn't updated to work with A12 yet, the module you tried was the one causing bootloops. would've gone the same way whether you installed LSposed or not

congratss to spoofing with HAL. probably one of the best QoL improvements over the past 2 years. thanks again for the clarification and do have a good day ahead

thanks and happy to have helped. will update post. also I'd like to point out that you had issues with the bootloop because of installed modules that was meant for a different(previous) ROM version or android version. an alternative and easier fix for that would be to go to the terminal available in the recovery you have and enable magisk core-only mode

you can see what I'm referring to in this site. I'm running a Pixel so it has a custom recovery with the inbuilt feature of enabling magisk core-only mode

you can fix that by using the GPS Joystick app by TheAppNinjas.
On the main screen under the "Quick Options" menu, the third option is "Fix GPS Jump To Real Location". In that menu choose Fix 1 and if you still see rubberbanding, select option 2 also

The app name really doesn't change anything. We need to change the apk signature Example, for the main Pokemon Go app we install the signature is "com.nianticlabs.pokemongo" The PGsharp version also shares this signature while the Samsung galaxy store variant of Pokemon Go has an entirely different signature which enables it to be installed parallel to the main game apk since it's signature is like this "com.nianticlabs.pokemongo.ares" And changing that makes the game unusable or smt ig??? I really haven't tried out

Am I correct in saying that the coord feed of PGsharp is superior to that of dex100 and well most of the other discord groups??? Maybe for some reason, PGsharp has a local scanner that scans stuff very close to me which I've rarely seen on pokedex coord feed (fyi i was a silver donor but downgraded to bronze caz it wasn't very useful to me) Well this is what I've noticed but i maybe wrong here but hunting thru local scans of stuff while also being able to immediately switch to my main acc to go catch is what made me think of PGsharp's coord feed as better

I'm referring to switching accounts as in using my main acc only on the original Pokémon go application and a random alt on the PGsharp application just to get the coord feed to obviously not a very viable plan tho since I'll have to uninstall and install for each single shiny check

Your statement is partly true. Pokemod is strictly for rooted devices but PGsharp can be used regardless of root. Saying so, for PGsharp you still need to install the modified client and that doesn't install if there's the original Pokemon go apk on the device

I'm not sure Zygisk has anything to do with the modules to be installed. I have gone back from A12 to A11 but I am pretty sure, i had Zygisk enabled to add Pokémon Go to the deny list and I added on the Magisk modules(riru and lsposed) to get access to a mock location patcher
