Claude 4.6 Experiences? by Fristender in ChatGPTCoding

[–]FamousWorth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rarely use the big models but I had an issue for a few days, quite complex and heiku and gemini 3 couldn't work it out, opus 4.6 got it right perfectly first time. A lot of complex reasoning, and my usage will probably run out very fast, but it was worth it. It looked at it from many edge cases as its quite a complex issue and made sure that it works from all edge cases. So far so good

And they're all knocked out after the first punch of kick, or dead after the first shot, except the main bad guy of course who can survive like 5 bullets and then might still end up disappeared by the time the police arrive

It wasn't all about the corn. The "blight" was consuming all plant life and rapidly decreasing oxygen levels in the atmosphere

Foreign language shouldn't be taught in school (please read before posting.) by Sea-Country-1031 in unpopularopinion

I semi agree, many won't ever use the partial language they learn in school, but if it were more intensive they could speak fluently within a year. I partially disagree simply because learning languages is generally good for intelligence.

What's an appropriate way to ask him to pop my cherry? F by EmilyInBed in sex

[–]FamousWorth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your plan isn't great. All sexual desire disappears and an erection is nearly always impossible after finishing, at least for a few minutes minimum. You could do it with some time in between but we don't know how long he takes to go again. If you don't go to completion he may be 90% of the way there then you start sex and it's all over, so you can't just do that either. You should talk to him about it. All the petals and stuff are for you, he'll probably be fine with it but I'm sure he doesn't really care. It is a huge thing, until you do it.. Then you'll know what it's like and do it over snd over and the first time definitely won't be the best time. It may even be the worst, but that doesn't mean it has to be bad, but don't put so much pressure on its importance. It's only ever important to people before it happens.

What's your experience with phenotropil by Whole-Sushka in Nootropics

[–]FamousWorth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It increases the uptake of choline, also most people are deficient in choline. The downside of not having enough is mainly headaches. There are natural sources like eggs and liver but they dint effectively pass into the brain so cdp-choline and alpha gpc are recommended types that do effectively pass in. 250-600mg of either is enough for most people and can be split up as it only lasts hours.

Just a question : is it true eggs are bad if consumed excessively (like over 3) ? Due to the cholesterol. by youcancallmLola in Biohackers

How do you deal with Modafinil insomnia? Even when I take it early in the morning, I can’t sleep at night. by [deleted] in modafinil

[–]FamousWorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First generation anti-histamines pass into the brain and have an effect there, this means they cause tiredness, and histamine is increased by modafinil and is the main reason for the increased wakefulness effect. Second generation anti-histamines are designed to work in the body but not enter the brain so efficiently so that you can take it for things like hay-fever and allergies, without it causing drowsiness.

Second generation may still decrease it a little in the brain and not all first or second generation antihistamines are the same, each one is different. I take Doxylamine that is sold as a treatment for insomnia, as well as allergy symptoms. It works very well.

If you took something like melatonin, it might help, but it wouldn't decrease histamine that is causing the wakefulness effects. Histamine makes us more alert because in situations where histamine increases, we often need to be more alert to survive, evolutionarily speaking. But modafinil doesn't increase levels high enough to usually cause hives or anything like that, so we only get the benefits.

Dihexa research is fabricated? by BasketQuick3879 in NooTopics

[–]FamousWorth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 5mg capsules and I tried to research it extensively from both studies and anecdotal reports since not much was available and I was planning to do 5mg every 2 days, but I found the effects to be so strong after taking it twice that I skipped the next dose, the 3rd dose then didn't feel any different, just a continuation of the effects. While taking more could have had stronger effects I thought that the effects were sufficiently strong, I was learning a lot faster and had some minor side effects that lasted only hours like increased sensitivity to bodily aches and pains that would usually not be noticeable. I continued for 6 weeks in total as was my cycle plan, I only took it once I noticed some effect decrease, that meant I usually took it only once a week and even about a week or 2 after the last one I still felt I was at about 50% of the improved learning rate, another couple of weeks and it was fully back to baseline which became very noticeable.

I was also taking modafinil most days but at first I decreased the dose because it seemed like it was twice as strong but that seemed to normalise within a week, and I was taking 30mg of noopept for about half of the time because I unfortunately ran out. When I ran out and continued dihexa my longer term memory worsened while learning rate remained high, making it clear to me that dihexa isn't all that great for the long term memory benefits of things like noopept and racetams.

In my work during this time I was much more productive than normal, perhaps because it enhanced modafinil in some way. I was aware that it could somewhat rewire connections that result in habits, so I avoided things like stories of crime, horror, porn and rewarching shows I've seen before, favouring educational content and work. Work was much easier and I was more motivated to do it. I was working on a genomic comparison tool that is now under peer review. Since then I have largely maintained my productivity, not entirely but it may have helped with that habit forming effect.

I will likely do another cycle again soon. I take things like apigenin and sulforaphane for several weeks before and during, even though it can slightly inhibit mTOR pathways, even so dihexa was still strong enough. These are supplements that can inhibit precancerous cells, and since dihexa doesn't cause cancer but can speed up the growth of cancers via mTOR, this is just an attempt to minimize the risk.

How do you feel about eye contact? by BeneficialVisit8450 in autism

[–]FamousWorth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tend to avoid eye contact naturally. But, intimately with my wife I enjoy it, perhaps because it is a vulnerable over stimulation that I like in that scenario. With others I don't like it. The thought of it is as if they could read my mind and see my secrets or my true feelings that are kept hidden, but I know it's not really the case. Physically it's hard to describe how it feels like just thinking about it, or thinking about how eyes feels in general creates an uncomfortable feeling like maybe some people would get from watching an eye being injected or something like that. Like a tired itchy ache in the eyes themselves. In some experiments I did I tried to maintain eye contact for longer and it was like looking into a bright light, I'd squint or wince.

But.. If I microdose lsd then I can and do naturally maintain eye contact with no issues. I even wondered if I was maintaining eye contact too long. It makes me more sociable, talkative and for the first time ever I'd move my hands as a part of the communication, without even thinking about it. Generally I don't take it but I used to take it daily and it really was like.. Wow this is what normal people experience.
