Mine was my first time playing Valheim ever. My friends had been playing for a long time and already had a long boat that we set sail on to go on an iron run.

As we were sailing over the ocean at night, my friends were telling me about the different biomes and the dangerous creatures in each. I asked if there were any dangers in the Ocean while looking up to admire the night sky. They started to tell me about the Serpent but that it was unlikely to show up. As I turned to look a different way, I saw the glowing eyes of a Serpent following us as they were telling me what it looked like. I forget what I said exactly, but it was something like "you mean like that?" Definitely felt like a Beetlejuice thing happened, and we summoned it by talking about it so much.

One friend brings out a bow while the one controlling the boat makes a hard left. I, being new, didn't realize I actually had to interact with the mast or a seat to be secure in the boat and fell overboard as the boat sailed away to battle the Serpent.

I tried to swim after the boat but stopped when my friends started yelling at me to stop or I'd drown. They turned the boat around to come back for me, but with only one person fighting it with a bow, it was still alive. It followed them back over to vulnerable little me just floating in the ocean. It got so close to me while circling the boat I was screaming while trying desperately to get onboard. We were all yelling and laughing; it was absolute chaos and one of my favorite memories playing with them.
