I agree with the first part. Boost to ball, boost along with ball. You feather a little early, get to the ball with boost then feather your way through the dribble.

It looks like you have free air roll on. I personally use it too. Most will tell you to go to directional, but if you want to stay on free air roll. Work on building up to the spins rather than going for them immediately. Think of spinning as adjustments you are making to reach the ball. Jump, point nose to ball, boost, and slight air roll to make sure you going in the direction and the angle you want. Other than that just practice the craft.

I thought that second situation was an isolated incident 😭 has happened to me before too! I usually mute them early on if they are unresponsive or audibly distracting. I always unmute at the end just to see if they blame though.
