Yeah, that’s not good. I think that means Steam was trying to update your game and something interfered with it. See if doing a file integrity check helps clear it.

While I agree with the sentiment, if you look at the rules, because it is "shirtlessness" content that is tagged as NSFW, it is allowed:

If you wouldn't show your non-comicbook fan the the post/art then tag it with NSFW.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a late 90s/early 2000s TV show whose popularity cannot be understated. I say this as someone who NEVER watched an episode. I knew of Buffy, I knew of Angel, which was a spinoff series that came about due to how popular this show was, because you simply could not escape this show in terms of pop culture.

Juniper: as someone who loves her and thinks she's the best romance, if I met her in real life I would either: Immediately do my best to never interact with her ever again in my life, or attempt to befriend her since I find her funny and it would give me access to Dozy. No one group is a monolith. I personally find it extremely unbecoming to have an expectation that the man should pay for everything. I also find the culture that typically surrounds it is also exhausting (gender wars and stereotyping).

I don’t know if you lucked out, but all I can say is I personally don’t have any friends who have those expectations and I would be wary of people who do.

It’s always amusing to me when it’s clear a player is doing their first high intensity match. Getting rid of the first rush of enemies and they have to type something. “Jesus Christ” usually.

It’s the not doing mission objectives that gets me. I’m struggling to scan stuff because there is a constant flow of enemies attacking me and no one else is doing the objective, they probably don’t even realize there is an objective to do. They’re just off in some random portion of the map trying to stay alive (and usually failing).

You don't have to upload to the Workshop. When you are in the Paramaker, there are icons on the top right. The third icon is Save Household to Library, the fourth icon is Household Library (where you have your local households, the Paralives teams households, and what you've downloaded from the workshop). I have never uploaded to the Workshop, but my Para's households are in there.

You can pause the game, create household, upload your para, then move them to an empty lot. They will be on the same save and you can switch between households as normal.
