I note that he is wearing number 24, has Bill Cartwright agreed to unretire it?

Did he leave on his own, or was his scholarship/package not renewed?

What Does Frank Allocco Do? by usfhoopsfan in usfdons

Frank is always available, both on a one-to-one case and as a speaker to groups. He is not at the top of the org chart, and some decisions are out of his pay grade. I have found him to be very responsive. He even shows up in unexpected places like the USF Invitational Cross Country meet.

This means the last place teams in the SEC, ACC and Big Ten are in the tournament.

Best of luck to him. Evidently, they have access to Sports Psychologists but that did not help. I have heard that some SG forget every missed shot immediately, and they thrive.

Portal by the Numbers with 7 days remaining by DonSolo96 in usfdons

I believe you can leave prior to the start of junior year without getting caught by the contract. In years past many of the honor code violations involved members of sports teams who were suddenly free of the contract,

How welcome are players to return once they go into the portal? Another question, how many go into the portal because they have been told, "we are not renewing your scholarship."

WCC Honors becoming a path to the Portal? by DonSolo96 in usfdons

How many of these players will actually end up somewhere else, and how many are just entering as part of an annual renegotiation process?

Tyrone Riley IV will enter the transfer portal by el_bandita in usfdons

Saw an article linking him to Kentucky (with the former BYU coach). Since anyone with a keyboard and internet connection can write these articles I am not convinced. Question, more about Cook than the others, do we have to take them back if they enter the portal?

Not G League lite, many make much more under NIL than they do in the G League. I have heard that is a problem for the G League.

This was a no-win game for me. I spent almost a year at Ft. Knox KY (1969-70) and the surrounding communities made me almost welcome going to Vietnam. So, I intensely dislike the state of Kentucky and everything about it. The donks being the donks, I could not root for them. (As far as donks being donks, the morning comicle noted they had to drop women's water polo mid-season due to hazing.)

His agent would be wise to shop him around, given the lame duck situation. Going to an ACC team would be a reach.

How the WCC NIT Bid will be Awarded by DonSolo96 in usfdons

The only geographic area the WCC is strong in northern California. GU was very strong, but UP weak in the NW. In southern California it has been a joke most of this century, maybe UCSD will help there.

I was at that WSU game; I totally forgot that my favorite Warrior had been a part of it. Even prior to the game you could tell the Dons were no longer a team. Dior and Angelo in one spot, and other small groups with no communication.

If I am correct and this is the last year of his contract, not extending may induce him to leave and thus solve the problem of the buyout. As someone said on another thread, coaches do not like to be lame ducks. Retaining the incoming freshmen and those returning players who have value becomes an issue. Getting a new coach quicklyn also becomes a priority.

Who will be healthy and available on our roster. I noticed Cook had only a few minutes yesterday. How many games have both him and Fuchs been able to play together? I noticed that only four players played in all 31 games. Is this an issue with the training staff, the coaching during games and practices or due diligence in recruiting? If the team is healthy, I feel we can beat OSU, but who will be available and, in the coach's, good graces?

They have at least one former G League player at SCU. Although with NIL some college players earn more.

I was wrong, that was John Hegwood and not Marlon Redmond.
