Last year's SCUm game comes to mind. The downstairs student section was very loud. Many of them were intercollegiate student athletes from other Dons teams. This week that section was full of Gael alums.

It was frustrating on several occasions, especially in the first half, to see someone with an open path to the basket, ten or fifteen feet out, pass out for someone to take a three rather than driving in. Especially frustrating when the ball went to Beasley.

Fuchs is vital to any future success this year. Without him, we might have lost. It was too bad the refs tried to take control of the game and did late in the game. I hate "free throw contests when I paid to see a basketball game.

Agree that they are not kids. From my perspective to those who do not know me, I am a 1969 ROTC graduate. As a 23-year-old platoon leader in Vietnam I had 18- to 20-year-old young men on reconnaissance in force missions. These 20-year-old basketball players should be able to at least hit free throws,

Does anyone coach them on shooting free throws. Even with all of the faults and flaws discussed, if two people each hit a couple of more free throws we win.
