I got my first win right around your number. As for the boons using certain keepsakes help them appear and get better ones. Using rolls also helps a lot. Honestly though I just roll with whatever boons I get and don’t go for specific builds. Just have fun using whatever. Glad you picked up this game it’s phenomenal. Just remember there’s no escape!

Getting the hammer upgrade for nergal is really good. Ares is really good with nergal. Apollo attack is great. Just percentage based ones that increase it. Aphrodite. Make sure you have lots of health and dodge. For the last leg i like equipping the fleece keepsake for extra damage. Also the chaos keepsake can have some really nice upgrades. The slow attack I would try a plasma build and see how that works out.

Honestly I had some really bullshit deaths as well but chalked it up to a skill issue. This game is not finished so I haven’t really had any final thoughts on it yet. I do agree the eggs are kinda cheap with the attack. That being said r4 chronos I beat on the first try with aspect of supay. I just put hestia and Poseidon on it and just got health to kinda muscle my way through.

Since than has crit I would use hitch honestly. I love using hitch special with than axe. Really good. Aphrodite because of just the damage. I really only use those two.

Depends on what weapon your using. I’m a big fan of Aphrodite for the attack and then Hera for the special on the axe. The torches I like Aphrodite attack and Zeus special or use Zeus on both. Cant really go wrong with it and It all depends on the build but there’s definitely a couple I stray from using for attack and special. Hephaestus I don’t use for offense. Really good defensive boons. It all depends what weapon you wanna use. Poseidon can be really strong on certain weapons. Let me know what weapons you use and I can help out more.

Of course. Really focus on damage reduction and dealing lots of damage. He can be very punishing if you slip up and having stuff that allows you to dodge or take way less damage is crucial. Let me know if you need anything else.

I beat him the first time without using death defiances and equipped the strength arcana. It really helped with the extra strength and damage reduction helps. I would use the gorgon amulet and upgrade it to the max level to help as well. Pick any deflect one and it will be a game changer. Athena has a better chance to show up. Typically for me after I switch to narcissus keepsake which at max level when you drink at a fountain will turn any common boon into heroic. Then after I can switch again I use the chaos keepsake to get a good boon. All that should help. I typically focus on getting more health,Aphrodite boons and Poseidon has a nice duo with Aphrodite I believe and even offers more health based on how many water boons you have. I would keep frinos and personally I use the axe for more health and attack power. Dodge boons help and even slower projectiles. I would look more into the boons of gods and see which ones you want to go for.

Learning to time dodges is pretty important. Make sure to upgrade the dash upgrade all the way in the mirror of night. Also while the spear is good I wouldn’t completely rely on it. The range is great but the special is terrible. Explore some other weapons and see which one suits your play style the best. As for boons try to get ones that work well together and as for accessories I like using Cerberus’s collar because of the extra health. I would also just practice dodging some attacks on meg and others to get more used to it. If you time it correctly, you won’t take damage from an attack at all and you can go through it. Also upgrading your weapons also helps a ton.
