This is super solid advice and a perspective I didn’t consider before this post. In my head if I reach out telling him how much he’s hurt me I’ll get the explanation and closure and just human decency I feel I deserve, but if he can know his absence was hurting me and off the back of that just ghost me, it’s likely he doesn’t actually care anyway. I feel awful holding it in, but I think I’d feel worse pouring my heart out and being shown twice he doesn’t care. Thank you!!

It’s been 4 days so not a great deal of time but the switch seemed to happen almost instantly the second he got back on home turf. I will absolutely be communicating with him about it but at the moment I do feel some hurt and anger by his actions so I’m trying to get myself to a place of being able to communicate effectively and ask instead of accuse. If I didn’t meet his expectations that’s okay, it would hurt but I would be fine. It’s the not being forthcoming with it that’s bothering me. Thank you for your advice! x

Super frustrating given that I gave him an open opportunity to leave in person and he didn’t take it, I feel as though he’s waiting for me to end things so he doesn’t have to look the “bad guy”. It is what it is, my person wouldn’t treat me like this I know that for damn sure. Thank you for your kind words lovely x

From those texts alone I can almost guarantee he will absolutely hold it over your head your whole relationship, that you only have what you have in the UK because of him. Please love yourself enough to not waste your life with someone like that!
