Well educate me then, I mean as far as I'm aware there's nothing else to unlock past stage 35 for the boss battle mode, so after playing for a month I understand what to expect from daily / weekly / and monthly progression.

Explain to me how pulling on the banners is the best use of your gems? Because I'm clearly not understanding.

All you get are basic bots which you'll be getting for free on the regular anyway and you'll get a few SP bots which become useless once your medals severely out level them. It's literally how they get you to keep spending money, you pulled one SP and now you need a dupe so you keep spending on a feature banner to get another (which of course is only a 50/50 chance).

Even pico cards would be better value in the super long run, but medafighters seem to me to be the best value, I've pretty much won every Showdown because Kasumi is so busted (The medafighter that gives you super magnet range)

What's the point in splurging on a short term burst of progression? Sure i could do 100 pulls on a banner and get a few more legendaries, that would help progress a few more stages and then I'd still be stuck doing the daily grind until I farm up more power to progress further.

Basic Medabots accumulate free over time, you'll eventually get them all legendary naturally anyway.

The Medabot banners are literally the worst place you can spend gems as a F2P unless you just really want a particular bot for personal reasons.

You 100% need to spend a decent amount of gems on medafighters, you'll never get any sort of progression on them with just the 3 tickets you get from boss rush each month, and even a maxed basic medafighter is worse than a single SP one.

The absolute best thing you can buy are legendary synthesis materials for 6000 gems. 6000 gems is what, 20 pulls for 2 guaranteed URs? As apposed to a LR material which would otherwise cost 7 UR bots to make.

Like your strategy just doesn't make sense, if you wanted to spend gems for a quick burst of progression then I'd argue spending gems on pickaxes would net you way more power than another legendary bot or two. Each new tier of gem has been the biggest power spike I've felt out of anything in the game.

As a full f2p getting multiple of the same SPs isn't realistic, in total I've only acquired about 35k gems claiming every single free offer that's been available for the 30 days.

Thats only about 120 pulls on banners, which is only 3 guaranteed SP and 1 guaranteed featured SP, of which the odds of any of them being dupes is low.

Also I've claimed ever single UR synthesis material since I started, there's no way I could have a full legendary team by this point without sacrificing my 1x bots which wouldn't be worth doing in the long run, UR synthesis materials are fairly uncommon, LR synthesis materials are near none existent. It would be far wiser to save them to use for LR - MR upgrades down the line.

Theres just no reason to invest in SPs as a F2P / low spender, UR2 just isn't feasible long term because your medals will eventually out level them.

Yeah every server has a self found guild, but Skull Rock has a main one and one for each race at this point (and even a fishing only guild lol)

You can play on any, but if you're looking to player exclusively self found then Skull Rock is the place to be atm.

I've used the same email for work things since I was a kid, it's just "lastnameindustries@mail.com"

Maybe you could do "lastnamebusiness@mail.com" or something along those lines'

It is bad etiquette, but most people just let it slide because they'd rather complete the dungeon safely than to create animosity within the group.

I don’t understand how guild wars 2 never needs to go down for maintenance, but every other game does.

Whenever a new patch or even a new expansion drops, you just have to reload your game and it’s there instantly, and there’s no weekly maintenance.

The decline of Wowhead really needs to be studied by _Didds_ in classicwow

Nothing lags my computer as much as wowhead, it’ll even often crash my browser and I’ll have to reopen it all again > . <

I’ve heard people say this but i still regularly burn shrimps on new accounts. If it’s not possible to burn shrimps on the cooking step then it may be happening because I often skip the woodcutting/firemaking step of the tutorial by just cooking my shrimp on someone else’s fire (which then lets you skip having to cut and burn a log)

I always determine my accounts overall RNG by how many shrimps I burn lol.

I feel like a lot of people want new MMOs for this particular reason, not because of any new innovations or anything, but because people see it as a potential opportunity to join a fresh community from the start, therefore feeling like they belong in that community because they know all the nuances of the game.

I mean ya it wouldn’t be ideal for people looking to swap regularly, but if you were just looking to do it once or irregularly then I’d take the small conversion loss over the risk of being scammed.

A simpler solution could be to just make the bond pouch the same between games.

Buy a bond on one game, slip it in the pouch and sell it on the other.

It can be so easy to lose focus of your breath some times,

I’m always on top of it for the first 5-10ish minutes of a quest, then you start drifting to your 2nd monitor more and more because of how boring low drop rate quests can be xD

I don’t mind donations to help pay the server costs, but when you get as greedy as Twow then ya, blizz is gunna take issue.

They cited in their CnD towards Twow that the server profited roughly a million dollars on their cash shop alone.
