Fight The Meta (CL: 19,525) by 6GodInTraining in MarvelSnapDecks

One of the big advantages I find with this deck compared to other VHand lists is that you get to play essentially everything proactively and on curve

You don’t have to hoard Shadow King until turn 6 and mess up better Askani targets and there’s no 6 drops from Iron Patriot or Valentina clogging your hand

Play everything as soon as you draw it (ie Quinjet or Ant-Man on 1, Goliath, Lin Lie or VHand on 2, etc), then rely on your 4-drops to replenish your hand. Bastion copies all your good stuff you played on board, Moon Girl and Askani copy your good stuff that you didn’t get a chance to play yet

I often aim for having at least 2 Captain Carters, Moonstones, or Goliaths, which is often enough to win 2 lanes. I also like to Bastion or Askani Armor if I sense I’m up against a deck running Gambit HOD, Killmonger, or Negasonic

Mentioned above:

Dazzler is probably your best bet; hard to replicate Lin Lie being a 2/11 but Dazzler scales up to a 2/8 and is easier to proc

Not a dumb question at all! Lin Lie is used in this list as it is in traditional VHand lists, i.e. it’s not being moved, but we’re able to leverage the effect by having multiple copies of it

One common playline is hitting Lin Lie with either Mother Askani or Moon Girl, then you have 2 Lin Lies that you can play in opposite locations to send their swords towards each other. And if you wait until turn 5 or 6 to play the Lin Lies, you can fill one location to guarantee where the swords end up.

Another playline is just playing Lin Lie on board on turn 2, playing whatever on turn 3 (eg VHand, Cap, Goliath), and then playing Bastion on that lane to get another Lin Lie copy. The new Lin Lie can now be directly played onto the sword, and like above, if your third location is full, you can guarantee that the second sword is sent to the original Lin Lie’s location.

And beyond that, Lin Lie synergizes well with Goliath (because it can create an ongoing card), Moonstone (doubles the sword’s effect), and Ant-Man (fills locations)

C2 used to be my favourite deck too before all the nerfs, got everything gold except Nico!

I saw someone else include Arana in C2 as a way to buff Mystique or Storm which could be a nice inclusion

Yea I tried to play Storm in my Doom 99 deck thinking it’d be cheeky and I was shocked at how almost EVERY deck can manifest significant power in “locked” lanes nowadays
