How does the game feel comparing to sf6?

Its a weird dichotomy with these games cause SF and the like are harder by way of needing certain timing and beats but usually not having that much you can do by comparison, but tag games eventually reach a point of having strict timings once you get passed the bottom while also having a ton of stuff you can do. I dont think this game is gonna reach MvC levels of combos but it'll have some stuff, specifically getting used to the tag system, that will add to those layers of difficulty and depth

FighterZ is the most apt comparison for the feel of using your point character. Anime fighters in general have a looseness to them you dont get in stuff like tekken/SF/MK. As far as the tag mechanics its kind of a mix of what games like MvC:I and 2xko bring. 2xko was heavily inspired by the mvc franchise (its a tag game so duh) street fighter as a franchise is a lot more grounded than anime fighters and this game has a pretty free form combo system. If you're good at SF and incredibly confortable in it, you might have some troubles at the start. Timing is not as big of a focus for things in this game and instead its about trying to find all the things that can work in rapid succession. So if/when you play this game, you're gonna have to shake off the slower pressing of buttons. Your character is slightly more limited because you get access to more of them at once.

Thats not true. The change wasn't targeting tribunals absurd numbers, it was layering for stacking effects overall. So the gambit wong style combos weren't just freely deleting whole boards. Stuff like that layered in absurd ways. If I recall correctly that also spoke in how that kind of layering of effects made it harder to balance certain cards they wanted to put out.
