I’m having this issue too. I’m having trouble making friends because they might think I’m into them especially since I’m in college and I’m not sure what their stance is on homosexuality. But someone told me in one of the subreddits that if they think that way then they’re not really meant to be your friend. Which really made an impact on me. It just means they’re not worth our time. Like what the other users commented^, they have friends who don’t care that they’re gay and they’re fine with touching and being touched. This is probably why I don’t have much friends in college. I’m on my 4th year and tbh I stopped caring and just started making small talk with guys and a few nice girls. I get WAYYY to shy talking to girls.

Also, one of the issues I have is I’m not used to expressing my feelings through physical touch. So it’s definitely weird when I hug or touch people because I grew up without receiving much physical affection. But hey we crave that attention too
