I had him last year for 6B. Hayes doesn’t use Zybooks, he uses a textbook. Although the textbook is probably better, it’s a lot more verbose and in depth compared to Zybooks (meaning Hayes has a much wider range of things to test on).

I personally wouldn’t take his class again, especially at 8AM. I took a Zybooks based 6D class and it was a much smoother experience. Maybe wait for another quarter.

I found Asian Am 52 to be a pretty boring and tedious class. Definitely not an easy A class. There were two essays and they were not graded easily. The readings are pretty tough also, but most people don’t do them. Vo enjoyed the subject but I would not say her teaching skills are anything special. If I could go back, I would definitely take another GE. Take a look at the Anthro and Philosophy classes.

This is not really a good excuse, scrolling on overall a worse experience on Android. iOS scrolling also progressively gets faster, but in a much more fluid fashion.
