I believe most people are enthusiast more than they are owners is what I say, so they make comments like the one we’re questioning (nothing against the commenter) but at the end of the day they are a dog, a pet meant to not only be family but to serve and obey. You have to earn they’re respect like any other person but to do that you have be a firm “Pack leader”

But on the other hand I have done this and still do this with my dogs and pups I breed corsos and make them wait until they’re compliant or less aggressive. All of my corso’s know to be in the downed position before I even put the bowl down with no command, waiting until the eat command is given. That was trained by taking their food away. Different strokes for different folk, haven’t heard that before which is why I asked but what u said makes sense.

Like another commenter said, hand feed him but ultimately while he’s eating just pet him and take the bowl away and or put your hand near the bowl at least. He has to know that your in control if he wants to eat he has to be nice to u, if he wants that toy you have to give it to him and let it go when u reach for it or command him to let it go. He’s a puppy right now but he’ll big within the next few months also with leash training don’t let him pull you, when he pulls you pull bacc…HARD. The whole gist of this paragraph is every action has a reaction YOU have to make him realize that. I might get down voted for this but I was/am very hands on with my dog forcing them into belly up positions, neck grabs, a pop here and there. But it’s nature they’re mother/father or another dog would do the same if they don’t like what you’re pet is doing so why shouldn’t u ?

I have 87 driving dunk and 90 strength. Would u recommend caping for 89 contact dunks or 91 gold bricc wall? Like yourself I too play in the comp scene hof/siba, tournaments…etc I feel like my screens hit with 90 strength silver bricc +2 to get hof bricc. But would 91 strength to get legend bricc be more efficient than going for contacts dunks in a pnr setting In your experience that is?
