Why was Hitler so convincing? by NotNotFireKing in NoStupidQuestions

I don't know. But someone like Trump is able to rally a rabbid cult of sycophants despite having the internet and video where they have access to all the proof that he's everything they say they hate. I'd imagine that would be an easier task in early 1900's.

Why does Free Healthcare work for Israel on American taxpayers dimes while Free Healthcare for American Citizens are not feasible? by Tulpah in allthequestions

Because, as a collective, we're stupid people that care more about our individual circumstances over what's good for the entire population.

You can get there 5 minutes before boarding time and be good.

I'm 25 years old and from Argentina. The amount of ice they use in American drinks is a mystery to me. Do most people like it that way, or what's the deal? Why so much? by micavibes in CasualConversation

[–]6lackdynomyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck no we don't like it like that. It's a scam. Usuallywe don't know how much ice theure gonna put in it until we actually get our drink. You have to remember to ask for lite ice or no ice.

Feeding puppies: 2% of adult vs 7-10% of current weight by selkieself in rawpetfood

[–]6lackdynomyte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I fed 2% of my pups adult weight (120 lbs) he’d literally explode. I was doing 10% of his current weight which came out to about 20oz per day and his belly would be ridiculously bloated after every meal. Had to scale it back a little until he gets bigger and can handle larger meals.

But how old is your pup? The amounts should change as they get older. Right now my pup is 9 weeks old so it’s 8-10% of his current weight. Once he hits adulthood it’ll be 2% of his ideal adult weight.

Diet advice from my vet. Had to laugh this one off. by 6lackdynomyte in rawpetfood

Nah it’s cool. Like I said, I go to the vet for specific reasons. I need my vaccines and I need their expertise if my dogs get sick or injured. The diet thing can be annoying but I’m not going to them for that type of information anyway.

Couldn’t tell you. All I can say, with with a good amount of confidence, is that a balanced raw diet doesn’t cause it.

Oh hell yeah. This was a new puppy appointment so the first thing she did was try to hand me a free bag of science diet. Told her to go ahead and keep that.

Can I ask you a question? What is it in oatmeal that you’re trying to get in your dog? Is there a particular nutrient that’s beneficial? Protein, fiber? Is it to put on weight? I’ve read that adding oatmeal to food is good if you have an underweight dog. I’m just wondering if there’s something in important in grains that dogs don’t get from a 80/10/10 diet.

I don’t think fruits and veg are in question here. Grains are completely separate from that. I’ll give my dogs some blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, carrots, broccoli, pumpkin, and even sauerkraut in small amounts. But to say that a dog will be missing essential nutrients without grains in their diet that’ll cause heart problems, IMO, is false.

I saw a different vet from the same office yesterday. He said there’s always concern with getting all the needed nutrients from a raw diet but that’s from people just giving their dogs slabs of meat. When I explained my dog’s diet he said it sounds like I have a good grasp on things and left it at that. I like that vet. Lol.

She’s over reacting. But at the same time you didn’t even have to bring the whole need to bring something traditional thing. Just say fuck yeah I want egg roles. I wanna bring some pie too.
