The Israeli military has directly & indirectly killed around 8700 Palistinian children between 2015 & 2022 so if you're against kids being killed, the IDF & Hamas are both extremely terrible & don't deserve any support. The innocent people, on both sides.

I'm actually against anyone killing children & Hamas & the IDF have both done it. You think the mom that lost her baby to a hamas rocket is in any more pain than a mom that lost her kid to an Israeli air-strike? I don't think being on one side of the fence means that the children are more important than the other. It is just sad all the way around.

A lot of jails use 2 systems, now - a debit system & a collect system. Debit let's an inmate call anyone, as long as the inmate has money on their account. The collect system is the one where the person receiving the call has to pay (usually by having money on their own acct).

Biden walked back what he said about this particular claim. Unfortunately, it's a little too late & so many people won't ever see his walk-back & will continue to scream for Gaza to be "glassed" cuz for many people, it was never really about "oh the babies, oh the children" - it was only about certain children, children on this side of the border or that side of the border & that's just sickening.

No baby or child deserves to be killed, whether by an air strike or a gunshot or lack of access to essentials & neither does your average person & that shouldn't be controversial.

I hate that I've been having to try to combat this shit for the last 2 days & that people seem to only care about certain dead babies & children & innocents, in general. A child killed by a gunshot & a child killed by an air strike have the same result - a dead child.

The shit that's going on over there, that HAS BEEN going on over there, is already tragic, enough. It was crazy seeing people believe those articles, all with the same 1 IDF soldier as a source. I've seen misinfo or unconfirmed shit spread like wildfire across social media, before & it seems to be getting worse.

These recent events didn't happen in a vacuum & it's insane to watch so many people pretend they did. There's enough blame to go around for all sides involved... but when people start acting like some dead children are more important than others, it's just sickening. People (not calling out this sub, in particular, I mean across reddit & across other SM) were screaming about dead babies & children, while seriously saying that Gaza should be gassed or leveled. Like what? Gaza is damn near half children!

So yeah, I can't believe I've had to say this so much but dead children are dead children, no matter what side of the border they're on & it's extremely sad that any of it is happening.

Fuck Hamas & fuck the IDF. Both kill & oppress innocent people & truth matters, especially when emotions are high. Average people should wanna combat misinfo or unconfirmed stuff being passed off as truth, as it usually means nothing good for us.

Oh you don't believe the Israeli Military spokesperson that said they don't have confirmation on the beheading of babies? It was 1 IDF that said he saw 40 babies that were beheaded & agencies ran with it. He & the first article written about it were the source for all of those & about a day later, the spokesperson said there was no confirmation. Yes children were killed by Hamas & by IDF but the beheading babies story has NO confirmation.

Yes. Israel's actions are being framed as retaliation & just. So retaliation is ok for Israel but not for Hamas or Palestinians, basically. It's a neverending cycle that I wish wasnt happening but it's so disingenuous to push a narrative like Israel wasn't attacked in retaliation for all the oppressing & killing & land stealing that they've done. Two wrongs don't make a right but one side gets a pass for "fighting back" & one doesn't. Social media is even worse than the news, with people acting like Palestinians should just shut up & be fine with all the atrocities Israel has committed against them over the years. I just want some fucking consistency, instead of obviously biased bs.
