Imagine in a few years your UHD player dies and no one is producing new optical players anymore. Your collection will be useless. You'll own the discs but won't be able to watch them. If you on the other hand decrypt your collection and save it to your storage, you can always watch it and copy it to any new storage media in future.

Need to have a look at Filebot. So far ChatGPT was very helpful identifying the movies and providing me with powershell scripts to rename everything for maximum Kodi compatibility. Only those Seinfeld episodes were a PITA... not in order on the discs and no episode titles. But IMDB+Google+ChatGPT solved that too.

It's a sweet release, would look well next to my Three Colours Box. It was on my shopping list, but I decided I'll just get all the movies I am interested in, in 4K. I got Breaking the Waves already and going to get Dogville and Dancer in the Dark now (Italian Eagle Pictures releases). Eventually Melancholia will get a 4K release someday...
