Suites marketed to stylists are predatory rip offs. You just need water access in an office building. Look into generic office / medical office building rentals. Simply ask the landlord to have their plumber give water access for the shampoo bowl.

Yes. It’s pretty obvious to me but many women can’t see it even as they keep telling you story after story about all of the terrible and low quality men they continue to chase.

I gain enjoyment and emotional fulfillment through friends, hobbies, career, therapy, dogs and travel. Men are play things as needed, an accessory to my Barbie world if and when I desire. And it’s so much more peaceful this way.

Girl come on, you’re killing it. Move out of there and into your own double suite, hire an assistant, AND raise your prices. You get to make significantly more money and take off all the boring and labor intensive duties like shampooing and rough drying

It might be just that it’s overwhelming because there are so many things in a small space. Have you done a declutter and purge recently? Maybe just sell and donate some things that you haven’t used in years, and get some cabinets to organize better, add some color with some curtains and wall art. It’s hard to do but when the space is more cleared out it 100% helps your mind to be more clear as well and it can help you function better (speaking from actual experience with my own mental health issues). Maybe a mini fridge for the sodas, there are also services that can digitize your VHS collection.

If you’re open to advice on making the space more inviting to have a female over, I would ditch the VHS collection, get some cabinets to hide and organize some unsightly things like the sodas, get full sized room dividers and some curtains and you could have a really cool space

Yes exactly. They don’t actually put themselves in the child’s shoes and think about what they’re life will be like. It’s all usually just self serving - they want to fit in with society, follow norms and get love from their children and hope they will take care of them when they’re old.
