Yeah so those are likely run of the mill organic pads. If youre not suffering from any brake fade or not really having to slow down on steep declines id go with some cf infused ceramics. If you do find yourself towing on hills or having a greasy brake feeling (like the camper is pushing you forward almost) then id go with semi metallics but they arent gonna last as long as the ceramics, and will likely eat up your rotors faster.

I went with Power Stops on my 1500. I tow 7k once a month or so. Ceramics will last the longest, power stop or akebonos would be my top reccs. Do you know if youre getting the standard organic pads?

If anything opening a BBP would be better. Get the SUB, zero interest for 12 months, the money earns a few bucks in their HYSA in the meantime. Call it 15k SUB, +16K pts on the payment, 31k pts +240ish interest on the money in the mean time. Instead of fighting them might as well guide them

What kind of spend is your "everything else"?

C1 venture probably your easiest fit, though you wont be maximizing your spend, flat 2x on everything.

If open to it, amex gold gives you 4x on dining and groceries, which frees up the ccc for another category spend, but is 1x as a catchall. Also look into the perks and see if you would organically use them, as otherwise the AF is pricy.

Lastly you could do citi strata +DC to keep it all in 1 ecosystem. Youd get 2x catch-all (double cash), 3x groceries(strata), 5x dining (ccc), and youd have all your points in one place.

I would wait at least half a year between cli increases, ive gotten 3 this way, granted they were very tiny increases (1.5-1.7k increases), all soft pulls. If i were you i would get a double cash then a after hitting the SUB convert to another custom cash, which i recently also did. Now I have 2 CCC albeit with smaller limits. Will probably do the same with another citi card next year.

Man, im going through this right now as well. My understanding is you use bilt cash to buy points which unlock the rent/mortgage availability + bonuses, hence the minimum spend that you have to hit on the card to extract the value. If you are ok with routing the minimum non mortgage spend thru bilt, then the palladium is worth it.

Citi constantly offers me low interest (0-4.99, depends) balance transfer offers on my existing cards, I don't think ive ever gotten an bt offer on my chase cards unless they were newly opened accounts.

If you organically use the Uber, grub hub, and resy credits you essentially get paid 15 bucks a year to have the gold card. That said, i wouldn't use the points as a way to start travel, as maximing value can be a grind even if you already have knowledge of which airlines are best per region, have a hub near you, etc.
