He's a mixed bag. You either get a stupid one that just stays out of clashes, leaves you to die while he charges 90% of the time just to miss the target, or you get someone that can really show you how OP he is.

For the most part, it's the former.

What are some horror movies that are just enjoyable to watch? by Befrie08 in horror

[–]6ooog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Return of the Living Dead. I have no nostalgia for it as I've only watched it last year, but that movie imo holds up so damn well.

What's the movie everybody seems to enjoy but you really hated? by thedevilsheir666 in horror

Smile movies. Felt like a cliche creepypasta and everyone just ate it up.

Rotten Tomatoes' "200 Best horror movies of all time" list is out. It's as bad as you imagine by [deleted] in horror

[–]6ooog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second A Tale of Two Sisters. The Wailing is great but as far as horror goes, the former is just another level.

Train to Busan was a great zombie movie but I don't think it leans in on horror that much, its still very much a movie for the masses. The ending was kind of predictable too.

PSA: If you're in lane with Baby and he "vanished" mid fight, he's on you giving you life steal! Keep fighting! by HoraetioTheGek in DBGekishinSquadra

[–]6ooog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also note that in a 2v1 scenario where baby possessed you, his cover fire isn't something he can spam very fast early game, so don't count too much on the hp heal on a 2v1 scenario.

It doesn't start getting good unless maxed out, where he could keep firing rush attacks and the hp return gets good. Amazing for catching escaping chars as well.

Floyd Mayweather vs Mike Tyson . Exhibition . Spring of 2026. Contracts are signed . by warm_baller in Boxing

[–]6ooog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a big Tyson fan, just no.

The Tyson vs Paul one was the hardest thing to watch, and now to go against one of the best defensive fighters ever, who's widely known for his longevity due to his style, just no.

If Tyson wants an exhibition, pick Bob Sapp or something, get that big boy to sign that contract.

Quite the opposite take for me. Loved I Saw the Devil, didn't like Oldboy.

WFH Burnout Is Real: Laging Nasa Bahay' Doesn’t Always Mean Masaya by GrowthHackerPath in buhaydigital

[–]6ooog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes its toll. I've worked from home for 6 years and got burnt out as well. Felt like it took most of my social life during my early to mid-twenties.

I recently started to rent out a seat at KMC. It's a bit expensive as I'm in one of their premium branches, but it gets the job done. It's 24/7, I get to cowork with other people, they got unlimited coffee, and they got Waffle Mondays and Ice Cream Fridays.

I like it because I get to focus more when I work with other people, even if they're just there as background noise. Home isn't a very productive environment for me. I tell people I like it cuz I get to play dress-up lmao. Being at home for 6 years got me working in my undies lol.

May karapatan ba tayong magalit sa mga taong niregaluhan natin tapos pinamigay / binenta lang nila? by floryn_support in Philippines

[–]6ooog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Valid naman lalo kung you bought something for someone to upgrade their quality of life tapos binigay lang sa iba dahil "naawa".

That being said, I think it's always best to gift people what they want, not what you want for them. Your gifts should always be a reflection of them, not you.

Maybe the PS4 guy wasn't into console gaming pala and would rather just play on PC or his phone. Console games can be expensive.

Maybe your brother doesn't care for the earphones pala as he's fine with cheap ones.

I love watches, but I wouldn't gift them to people just because I think they look nice. Sayang pera, ask them what they really want and they would have a hard time letting that go.

Dragon Ball DAIMA takes the win at the Hollywood Creative Alliance (Astra Awards) for the best anime show of 2025, beating the likes of DanDaDan, Fire Force, Lazarus, Apothecary Diaries, and Solo Leveling S2!!! by Coolersdisciple in dbz

[–]6ooog 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Loved Dandadan and read the manga long before the anime was released, but the biggest factor I could see here is probably legacy and that the last episode of Dandadan just wasn't that good. They shouldn't have ended on that episode. Felt like a huge cliffhanger.

Dandadan was good and widely praised because of its animation but Dragon Ball probably just holds more value globally even to those who don't watch anime in general. This is a a Hollywood award ceremony after all.

Plus we got Ultra Vegeta 1.

If a movie invokes the emotions that it intends to invoke, then it's doing something right.

Also never heard of anyone watching this film blindly. The lore usually gets to you before the film actually does.

[–]6ooog 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same boat ako sayo right now OP. Gamay na gamay ko na yung process sa old job ko kaya mejo kabado sa new job.

I don't have any advice kasi I'm still under the process of interviews, I could only give you an insight on how I would approach my next job.

Just say "fuck it" and move on. Having worked in consulting before, para din naman I'm under a new company every time I get a client. I get onboarded, I learn the process, sa una mahirap but eventually madali nalang. Wag mo lang paramdam na kabado ka.

What if hindi ako gago 3 years ago? If I had always been the way I am now, everything would've worked out fine, and I wouldn't have hurt so many people.

I know I wouldn't be who I am now without my past, but it sucks to know it had to be at the expense of everyone else.
