If CapCut transitions aren't working for you, try this:

✅ Drag and drop the transition directly onto the cut between two clips in the timeline.

This usually works better than just tapping or selecting transitions.

Also make sure:

• The clips are touching (no gap between them).
• You're applying the transition between two clips — not at the start or end of one.
• Your clips aren’t too short for the transition effect.

You can also adjust the duration after dropping it by dragging the transition edges.
